  1. Hey, I'm looking for anyone in aberdeen who would be willing to teach DJ skills, in particular I'm interested in scratching and more hiphop stuff rather than Dance. I'm a fairly good drummer with a good grasp of rhythm so I shouldn't be that painful a pupil (I've taught beginner drums and it's hard when you can tell someone has no rhythm!) If anyone knows anyone give me a shout Cheers Ewan
  2. Don't know if anyone would be into this sort of thing, but I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in a sort of beat poetry electronica mix up thing... at the moment I have no equipment and am scraping together money to try to get some stuff, but I thought I'd check out on here if there is anyone who would be into that sort of thing. It's mainly coming from the fact I tried listening to Scottish hiphop and I'm sorry to any fans out there but the stuff I heard was awful, so I thought what spoken word works in Scotland and I figured that there is a strong voice for poetry here and wondered if anyone who did that sort of thing would like to branch into something musical. Just to make myself clear though, not too keen on writing hiphop tracks more atmospheric dark beats for someone else (who is more poetically talented that I) to speak over. If anyone likes the sound of it gimmie a shout. As I said I'm scraping bits and pieces together just now so it wouldn't be for a real while before I could start writing proper. Ewan PS Does anyone know if there are any groups like this already? I'd be interested to hear them.
