  1. Where do you get your facts from? Vinyl costs way more to manufacture than CD, especially now that it produced in way more limited quantities. I love vinyl, but there are certain things I would never buy on vinyl, DJ mixes for a start, who could be bothered turning a vinyl in the middle of a 70-80 minute DJ mix? Stuff I love like Led Zep I'm always looking for decent, relatively unworn vinyl copies on Ebay, it really does sound much better than the vinyl, as also said by members of the band. Also, in the past year, vinyl is the only format of music which has increased in sales. Albeit no where near the volume of the MP3 or CD market, but both of those have dropped sales in the past year and vinyl increased, leading to a big increase in re-released back catalogue. I know my local shops in Canada have a much bigger vinyl sections than they did a year ago when I first came here.
  2. I'm sure it's been done to death, but when is an artist a "sell out"? People get criticised for selling to adverts, movies etc, a few I can remember are Moby-Play (being a really big one), Jack White and Alicia Keys doing Bond theme, White Stripes doing Coke advert. We all say we'd do what we love for free, but if you were doing it for free and everyone else was getting paid millions, wouldn't you want a slice of the pie? What do people think? Particularly musicians, bands trying to "make it" or get a deal.
  3. Now that you mention it, I believe you're right, Blackburn springs to mind. He's actually a sound enough guy, I've met him quite a few times.
  4. Is she not the epitome of crap celebs seeing as she is literally famous for digging through peoples crap? As for the earlier comment about Mackie being hammered, that's not unusual, or at least never used to be. You can take the loon out of Kemnay, but you can't take Kemnay out of the loon. Actually, I think he still lives there, surprised he's not on smack! As for spotting celebs, I don't think I ever have or will, because I couldn't care less about any of the publicity seeking c*nts!
  5. You lucky, lucky man, she was hot!
  6. Mostly I listen to classic rock, indie, dance (techno, DnB, breaks), blues, hip-hop. But here are a few of my "guilty pleasures". The Caesars and not just "Jerk It Out", Beyonce, Kelis, Amerie, Pink, hell I even own a kylie single (for the remix admittedly). I even like that Leona Lewis single, probably the only reality pop/music show song I have ever liked. Coldplay, no one admits to liking them, but yet they still sell that many albums, how? My list could go on forever.

    Weeds

I've been watching it since the first series on Sky, but you're right, hardly anyone seems to be watching it. Which is a shame as it's a very good program, though I've been a little less impressed by the start of the third series than with the first 2 series. Still better than most things on the box though.
