  1. ...literally as i was reading ur post
  2. ive just clocked the barca line up... uh oh. they better perform!
  3. looks as if we're all parying for the same results. henry has been on fire, chelsea have to win, keane might come good at last and ibrahimovich is gonna do some mental skill and blast one in for sure. sporting i'm not sure bout.
  4. True, but I don't reckon that will affect many of the results what with the amount of pressure the top teams are under to produce a proper display in the champs league every time.
  5. Exactly. Little bets now and again are great, I don't get why people look down their noses at it. I probably spend about the equivalent of a round of drinks on it a month. It adds an extra dimension to the results coming in. For tonight I've got Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Inter and Sporting all to win. Seems a decent enough bet to me going on the recent form of the last three.

  7. Gutted I couldn't have gone last night. hope it went well Colin. Fuck knows you deserve it with the amount of work you put in.
  8. I defy anyone to watch this week's episode and not want to write a script. Missed the sardonic charlie but still a great bit of TV. I love the fact he's gotten a cult following now and can do whatever the fuck he wants with his show. i.e. a script writer's orgy.
  9. I like your style. so how was it? chocolate in any savoury dish needs to have a really high cacao percentage other wise it just tastes minging. I had a chocolate and beef chimichanga in a restaurant once and it was awesome. my favourite tattie filling is .... lardons, onion, creme fraiche, garlic, seasoning, topped with grated gruyere and grilled. funcy but affa fine.
  10. Not heard it yet unfortunately. He's made so much music that it'll take a lot of time to get through it all. 'Nice' really is the best word to describe a lot of his stuff.
  11. ... Then again, I've not been able to listen to the stuff in the links so I might be talkin out my arse.
  12. There's gotta be something in this guy's oeuvre that fits the bill...utter legend... Ryuichi Sakamoto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I'd recommend Moto.tronic
  13. I watched A Complete History of my Sexual Failures last night. It was annoying and funny in equal measures. I'd recommend it purely for the scene in Glasgow where the guy gets educated in the art of love making by two pissed up weegie tramps... It really tickled me. anyone seen it?
  14. oh my... that's some quality face-chewing right there. I was gonna suggest the two crews get together for a mad collab but someone's already had that idea. YouTube - Taz and Beefy versus The Kersal Massive vs Mr Null
  15. Ah.... that's what keyhole surgery means.
  16. Before someone else corrects you in a more harsh way... They speak Portugese in Brazil. There doesn't seem to be any info on why the link to your band is posted on an Oasis blog. Props for gettin exposure in foreign parts tho.
  17. Start with the original: YouTube - Kersal Massive then enjoy the remixes : YouTube - Kersal Massive DnB Remix Video YouTube - The Kersal Massive - Mr Null vs Six50 remix You gotta love manc neds

  19. ambient jazz soundscapes?.... sounds good. im always in the mood for some chinstroking. cheers
  20. RA: Resident Advisor - the dance & electronic music magazine is a favourite site of mine. I would never contribute to to the forums though because IMO the adjective 'heavy' should not be applied to the noun 'tune.' Its really good for all things musical and electronic. I've bought a fair few albums based on their reviews.
  21. I'm going to see The Necks tommorrow night on the suggestion of a friend. An Australian band apparently. Anyone heard of/seen them? What can I expect? Im at work so can't listen to their stuff.
  22. Fair point... They were playing Arsenal though, who have the ability to make any defender look like a tit. Spurs defence is just a bit unorganised, the ability is there. I don't support any English side but I always 'look out' for any scottish player. I'm hoping Hutton tightens up his game and can become a Bosingwa-type steam roller right back.
  23. I think Allan Hutton got unfairly slated after last night's game. Fair enough he made a couple of mistakes but, he also carried the ball forward a lot more than probably any other Spurs player on the pitch. He was up and down the line the whole night. What a game though.
