  1. Its pretty cool when you're team are in it and that's about it.
  2. I've come out of Ab-Mus retirement to state that that Roma away kit is fucking mint. I quite like the Celtic away kit. All green shirts are cheating though because you can't see them as well in your peripheral vision. I like the Aberdeen away kit, but I can't tell if its blue and black or white and gold. I don't think that Liverpool's team is equipped to play a back three. They have a lot of centre backs, but that's not really the point; they don't have the right wide players. I think the league will be close between Chelsea, Arsenal and United this season. City are in their too if Aguero stays fit. I also think Aberdeen will do well in Europe but see their league form suffer as a result :-( Ok, bye.
  3. I've found that you need to criticise them specifically on the aspect of their game that was shite. So, even if he's leaked three goals in defence, he might have made plenty of tackles. Unfortunately it only gives you the option of criticising his tackling or passing when he might not have been particularly bad at either. They do need a few more options in these situations; when you're one on one with a player. There's no option to say something aggressively to them, for instance. I'm currently in the 24/25 season because I'm unemployed. I've managed Aberdeen, Southampton, Borussia Dortmund, the USA and I'm now at a totally mismanaged Man United who I'm turning into trophy winning machines. I'm also the Scotland manager, who I took to the quarter finals of the European Championship in 2024. I've got a tactic that's basically broken the game.
  4. There's a thing at the Bernebeu, or wherever the club museum is, that challenges visitors to head a hanging ball that is within Ronaldo's heading range. Its stupidly high. It's as difficult as trying to dunk in a 12" hoop!
  5. Highly skilled drummer with own transport and gear seeks paid gigs (weddings/pubs/whatever). PM me if interested.

    Pet Hates!

I'm sure you're nice enough in real life. I did specify 'on the internet'.

    Pet Hates!

You know when you just don't like the cut of someone's jib? I just don't like you. Not many people I know do and there's probably a reason for that. You just seem to piss people off.

    Pet Hates!

You're the worst person on the entire internet.
  9. Who was the backline vs St Johnston? Assumed Considine would be at CB, but who played LB?

    Pet Hates!

I use all of these things but usually in a mocking way. Like if I say "dem" I'm usually pretending to be a gangster. What about "your" in the context of "That's your Andy Murray in the Australian Open final." I use that all the time and I'm better than all of you combined.

    Your current read?

Reading Inverting the Pyramid: the history of football tactics, by Jonathon Wilson. Fucking excellent read. Also reading The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair. Really good so far, but only 50 pages in or so. Joel Dicker was younger than me when he wrote it, which is dead inspirational and that.
  12. That's almost unheard of. I don't think I've had a greater goals to game ratio since CM 2001/2002, using Vincenzo Montella at Roma.
  13. Hopefully new Tool this year! Got the new Decemberists on its way, new Death Cab (although the last two have only been okay), new album from Dundee's Bonehouse too! But what you all got to wait out for is the new Carson Wells LP. The difficult second album, Tread a Northern Path, will be available from a minute section of online retailers, as well as from the band and Black Lake locally. Get on it.
  14. I have the combo version of this and its ace. The controls can be a bit obsolete - I find only presence and drive make a marked difference to the overall sound - but its a really high quality piece of kit for the price. And the exclusivity, as naebody else has one!
  15. Pawlett absolutely terrorised defences when I was at The Dons. Played him in behind Cammy Smith and Adam Rooney and he went to town in a Trequartista role. I trained, and played Logan as a wing back and he did really well. I found use for Considine too, as I normally played a back three. Well, knid of a back three, I had Reynolds in the DM position as a HB. Taylor too, was really good. I was only at The Dons for a season though, before moving on to Southampton. I lined up GK-d Langfield CD-d Taylor CD-d Considine CWB-a Logan HB-s Reynolds CWB-a Hayes DLP-d Jack BBM-s Flood T-a Pawlett DLP-s Smith AF-a Rooney McGinn spent most of the season injured and Goodwillie didn't work for me, but Cammy Smith got heaps of goals! Came 2nd in league and reached quarter final of Europa League (had a really easy draw and got knocked out by Internazionale) and the final of both domestic cups. Kind of disappointed not to win anything, but we were pretty good!
  16. I said to my brother a couple of days ago that Fletch should sign for "a WBA or a Sunderland".
  17. Just throwing this out there, but I think Man United are going to win the league. See you later guys.
  18. I'm playing a sort of 5-3-2 (2-3-2-1-2) at Aberdeen and its been good. Totally dominating games and getting a lot of shots away. Won 3 and drawn 1 so far with it, having lost my first game 0-3 to Dundee United using a 4-2-3-1. Its: GK-d CB-d CB-d CWB-a HB-d CWB-a BWM-d DLP-s Treq-a DLF-s AF-a Defending narrowly - as always - drilling c rosses, retaining possession, pressing and low tempo. Control and balanced fluidity. Nice
  19. About three weeks ago, or so. Can't really remember.
  20. Is the new patch out yet? I was getting too many own goals and couldn't get my head around the new set up so not picked it up for more than the hour or so when I first downloaded it.
