  1. The back doors work fine, so getting equipment in and out is not a problem.

The sliding door does not work at the moment, meaning people in the back have to enter/exit through the front passenger doors. It is not too much hassle, you just have to pass through between the driver and passenger seats. I don't know how much it would cost to fix, because we never bothered! We were happy to use the front doors.

I will stress that this van runs great. I never had any problems with it, and we have driven some long distances. 1200 o.n.o for a 6 seat van with loads of storage space!

  2. I am looking to sell my Iveco Daily medium wheel base 35S11 van.

Everything is in good working order. I have driven the van around the country with no problems whatsoever. Great for touring. Very reliable.

Road taxed and MOT till Feb 2011.

I am looking for 1300 ono.

If you want to come and check it out sometime, PM me.

    Cheers

  3. Hello,

We are currently looking for a guitarist to join our band. We play indie rock music - similar I guess to the likes of Nada Surf, Frightened Rabbit, Band Of Horses and The Shins.

We will be touring ALOT throughout the year, and also appearing at a number of festivals in the UK. You must be able to commit, as a lot of time will be spent on the road in a van + sleeping on people's floors/tents!!!

It is an exciting time to be in our band, so I am sure you will have fun :)

Here is the horrible part where I have to state what we'd like our new member to be:

    Male between 20-25 years

    Able to drive

    Experience gigging

    Good on guitar

PM me if you are interested,

    Thanks!

  4. Hello!

We are looking for someone to join our band and provide second guitar, backing vocals and some keys (very basic!).

We have been writing and gigging for years now. We rehearse twice a week, are recording in January and have a Scottish tour booked for early next year.

Ideally we are after some one who is around the age of 21, lives in the city and can commit to rehearsal and touring.

Our main influences are Death Cab For Cutie, Nada Surf, Idlewild and The Shins!

If you are interested, please PM as soon as possible :)

    Thanks

  5. The numarks are really good for starting off with, the turntables combined with a pair of technics slipmats are pretty decent for scratching and mixing! Obvioulsy their not as good as the technics but its the same as buying a guitar/amp/anything, budget stuff is still designed to be decent and a set of technics will cost you 700+.

The vestax mixer is amazing, it has an optical crossfader which means theres almost no wear and tear. With alot of mixers you will find that you have to replace the crossfader every couple of months which can cost up to 40/50pounds a go! Im pretty the vestax pmc 06 is used by alot of professional scratch DJ like Qbert etc.

    Cheers

  6. Hey

We have been practicing for over a year now and have a few good ideas for songs. At the moment we are just a three-piece consisting of guitar + vocals, drums and bass guitar, but we feel that we would really benefit from having another guitarist.

Were looking for some one who loves playing music, is able to really commit and is above all reliable. Ideally, they would also be of a similar age (20-25), but not essential! We are really keen to get some good gigs and tour in the future.

Some of our favourite bands are Death Cab For Cutie, Stapleton, Biffy Clyro, Pinback, Idlewild, NadaSurf, Seafood and Metronomes.

    PM if interested :)

    Thanks
