Battle Of The Bands: 24/03/08 Any word yet on who emerged victorious from Monday's soundclash at the Tunnels?

Guitartist wanted to complete initial line up for covers band. Proposed material includes The Smiths, Gene, Snow Patrol, Bowie, Placebo, James, Keane, among many others (pick anything you like from 1977 until now, there's a chance it might be in there; no guarantees, mind). Any takers?

Bass player looking to get back to jamming and gigging. Musical taste mainly on the indie side of the fence; influences include The Jam, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Wedding Present, Ride, Inspiral Carpets, Happy Mondays, Bloc Party, Hard-Fi, Editors, Kaiser Chiefs. Covers or original material, I ain't fussed, I just want to play. Almost anything with a bassline will do nicely (although blood, death and gore isn't really my thing - which rules out Country and Western I guess).
