  1. aint that the gig you guys played with us? that was a shit hot set, totally got everyone goin, esp that random drunk fucker, keep it up guys!
  2. Adam, you either hit the nail on the heed or yer just a mince lover lol, i want a chicken sandwich...
  3. i love you Doc i also envy ur maturity perhaps one day we can sit an have a drink an talk about times past and all these lovely things i dont personally feel that my previous comment was entirly mature but whats said has been said, not everyone can like anything and/or everything about eachothers style, that is the music buisness after all we are not out there to please everyone, we do it for a laugh an we have fun doing it, its all about trial and error and every band has to go through alot of styles an ups an downs to learn anything. as for the whole talk of musical ability, its an underated topic or overated depending on how you look at it an what you individually are aiming to acheive as a band there will always be someone bigger an better as my ma always used to say. take care *mwah!
  4. hey hey sick boy hows it goin? you do know it was Kerr who dissed you man lol not any of us. Enough Teabag we get the idea!
  5. yeah man totally, ken fit you mean, just woke up, bad mood. just dont see the need in some people bein pretty narrow minded towards some music (despite my juvenile response ), i know you cant like it all obviously, but cmon Aberdeen is not exactly what i would call 'a talent fest'(no offense 2 anyone)yes there are some shit hot bands out there, but they have earned that, too many folk demand it an therefore seem 'up there own arse'. i reckon people should be supporting eachother other than slating the shit out of someone that doesnt play what all the other kids play lol. all things considered i do see what peolpe have said, as i have also had this opinion about our material. not the 'oh man its shit' etc but i do realise that it can be repetative, slow paced, an well down right weird but it is early daysthere is alot more experimenting to be had ....until then, we will continue to play because it is a fekin great laugh and its a good way to keep those pounds off! hmmm anyone want to be in an Eminem cover band? aye min thats like my side prodject ken! peace!
  6. it was never really going uphill haha! fight fire with fire....'against the flames' an all that jazz!!!!
  7. i have one thing to add to all this (Or a few ), Doc from Assension seemed ok to me, but abit up his own arse (by abit i mean very) when i first met him, i enjoid yor music for about 5 seconds untill...i was sitting downstairs watching Scuzz,,,,along came Dragonforce, then it hit me! nothing entirely original or different about the two, except of course dragonforce were more than capable of playing the biggest wankery solos and OTT double bass! i have no doubts about your other guitarist, his solos are pretty kool, but the constant 'blastbeats' and 'tremelo picking' and the fact that most of your songs last 10mins leaves very little to anything sounding productive as apposed to being repetative (ok abit of repitition is good sometimes, ha in our case maybe a little OTT aswell)! you all seem sound apart from you Doc, grow the fuck up, open your ears to something other than Herman Lee, instead of sitting there on your computer thinking of ways to 'Slate' other bands and spouting abuse at so called 'rumours' your not a teenager for christ sake, an your not in the know about everything either! surely someone 'in the music scene' would understand this! Muchos love! that ugly bastard from your favourite band x
  8. We don't play them all the time, just now and again, we love playing our own stuff but its fun playing covers.
  9. OK I'll start off by saying I agree with the fact that we played totally shit at drummonds last week, me and most of the band were really drunk and baked and we hadn't practised since we were out recording. It was a bit of a shit fest really, and if that was the first time you saw us live then i apologise. When it comes to the cover of franz ferdinand when im shouting YeeeHaaa does no one realise we're taking the piss come on ... its a country version of take me out, and the gorrillaz cover is just funny and fun to play, from my experience of playing gigs, the people that come and see you for the first time don't know your music so if you slip in a song that they know they might get into it more. and it isnt like we play these covers all the time, just at select gigs for a laugh. As for wanking, taking a shit and humming O' Fortuna at the same time . . . that just makes you weird man. I'm sorry if you guys don't like the music that we make, but a lot of other people do, and we enjoy playing it. So theres no need to take the piss, if you don't like our music I have a simple solution . . . DON'T LISTEN TO IT! Alex (the singer boi)
