  2. Well, seems to me this is an horrendous way to treat someone who actually seems to have helped you out, giving you column space in a local newspaper. Such warm gratitude will no doubt stand you in good stead for future favours........ I'm pretty certain the Evening Express has a demograpgic and a target audience. Anyone who has helped out the music scene in Aberdeen through this paper has done you all a favour. Anything not printed does not fit into a business plan, it's not rocket science, they don't owe any of you a favour. The Evening Express is not "Aberdeen-music.paper". Accept and move on. If you all have such verve and drive, start your own local fanzine promoting local bands. Wouldn't cost much, and would get your message out to those who you want to. Nobody reviewed my recent sterling performance at my midweek game of 5-aside football in the sporting section. it was an unbelievable 10 goal haul as well. For shame ......... Also Travis haven't played the AECC since 2002 whichever fuckstick wrote that.
  3. She's censoring her comments on the page by the way. Mine was trimmed down from "excellent. You should release this. It would do well in the charts - it has number two written all over it". I <3 Andy so much. He made it into the timesonline and everything. Andy for the win! As everybody has said, he's the nicest person you'll meet and has done an incredible amount for the local music scene. Plus he knows how to take criticism like a man!
  4. haha. No. I made a spelling mistake. I was pretty sure they were shit all along. I never got their vocalist at all.
  5. Hmmmm, am I the only one who thought they were shit?
  6. In No Particular Order, Bestest: - Levon Helm, Rick Danko, Richard Manuel, all from the Band - Tracy Anne Campbell from Camera Obscura. I could listen to her All day. - Bon Scott and/or Brian Johnson Worstest: - Sting - Phil Collins - Elton John - All of the Bee Gees, including the dead ones.
  7. "Smile" by The Supernaturals "Good Enough" by Dodgy "Twist and Shout" The Beatles version. After watching Ferris Buellers day off, how can that song not inspire a crowd of people watching floats I ask you?
