    Dr Who

Aw no. I really didnae like that last one. The end was good, made me think of the old Flash Gordon shows that were on in the summer holidays years ago. I don't like when they bring in plots from other tv shows. All those spin off programmes that I couldnae be bothered tae watch. Ach! Bet the hand has something to do with it.
  2. I hope the Ghost of Fudge never got to see Sepultura this time. Hold on to those memories! I was at the ABC gig. Saw the last song and a bit from Strong like Ox who sounded pretty good. Spacejunk the other support band were alright too. Strange support choices though and the big parts of the wee crowd hated them, which made me like them more. Sepultura playing songs off Chaos AD made me very unhappy. I wouldn't mind if they came out and belted out the new record. New lineup, new songs but nah. Hearing Refuse/Resist is soulless now. It's like watching Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds without Nick Cave or Motorhead without Lemmy. Sepultura without Max and Igor aren't Sepultura. They just aren't.
  3. Resident Evil 4!!!! Zelda: Twilight Princess despite it being a Gamecube game. I'm not buying a new console to play it damn you nintendo! Warioware looks good too. Teh GBA and DS versions were a lot of fun. Super Paper Mario looks good but it's not out yet. You could do worse than tracking down some Gamecube games Eternal Darkness Metroid Prime, Zelda Wind Waker Animal Crossing and Battalion wars It'd likely cost you less than 20 too if you look around.
  4. aw YES! "He was wasted" Ok now it all makes sense. I went to see the Fall in Edinburgh they next day on from the Aberdeen gig and the guy at the door said "Sorry, there's nae band. They never made it out of Aberdeen" They came back a month later and did the gig though. Absolutley mighty they were too. One of the best times I 've ever seen them. This year is the Fall's 30th as well. 2 completely different sets on each night, that sounds fantastic
  5. I'd never been to Aberdeen until recently. I never had a reason to go there until I found myself tagging along with the Cyberpiper. I didn't see a lot of Aberdeen as a city but I saw enough of it as a music place to be impressed. Wow. Aberdeen was great. There's so much live music going on, much much more than I expected. I'm a big contributer to a review website and we hoped to have people in the north east to write reviews. It's bad that everything is always so based in the central belt and everywhere else just seems forgotten about. I've had so much fun in all sorts of places in Scotland recently that I know that just isnae true. I liked it so much I need to return asap Cheers! Andrew
  6. gigreviewscotland@belladrum I found myself rather unexpectedly at Belladrum and I had so much fun there. We were there reviewing it and doing photos The reviews are up here http://www.gigreviewscotland.net/index.htm What a great little festival. Met so many cool people too but a shame I missed Seasick Steve and also Biz's frying pan solo Had to interview the wonder stuff too. what a nice bloke Miles is. They were storming too. I didnae like the Bunnymen though. took some shots and then went to the bar. It was a well needed break for me. Slainte! Andrew.
