  1. Loose Joints returns this Saturday, the 16th December, with an extra-special pre-Christmas present for all the dancers. Al Kent is disco, simple. Scotland's number one disco music afficianado, Al has recently garnered international recognition with gigs at Respect's Ete D'amour party in Paris and most recently the legendary Southport Weekender. He has released three compilations of scarce disco on his own Million Dollar Disco label (www.milliondollardisco.com) and has had releases on Joey Negro's Z Records and Jigsaw Music. Frankie Knuckles once said House music is disco's revenge. However we know that Al Kent is really disco's revenge! Here's a wee mix from Al to whet your appetite - http://www.inhale.org.uk/ih_music/ing_018.mp3 Saturday 16th The Tunnels 11pm - 3am 4
  2. Loose Joints returns to the Tunnels this Friday for another ass-shaking disco session. This month is a residents party, with Steve and Walrus fresh back from the inspirational Southport Weekender. Speaking of Southport, the star of the show, Al Kent, Glasgow's Million Dollar Disco king, is joining us at Loose Joints on December 16th. Mark that in your diaries as it's going to be a serious party.
  3. Loose Joints welcome all and sundry to the next instalment of the monthly soiree. Esamba joins us with his bongos to provide some percussive niceness to accompany our disco grooves. 2, this Friday, 11pm - 3am, room 2 in the Tunnels.
  4. Loose Joints launch party this Friday, Tunnels 2, 11pm - 3am. Loose Joints continues the spirit of the infamous Cellar 35 parties, bringing the deeper disco. Aberdeen's only event dedicated to the proper disco sound. Expect underground disco classics from the past and modern disco re-edits all with a nod to the great musical heritage of New York City. Loose Joints runs monthly on the second Friday of each month.
  5. Is It All Over My Face was actualy the alternative name Gilles, very partial to a bit of Arthur Russell 8) We'll definitely dig out Tell You for the next one. Cheers, Nic.
  6. Loose Joints Thanks to all the dancers who turned up for the opening of Loose Joints and helped make it a great night. Tune of the night was Bill Withers - Lovely Day. Next Loose Joints party is Friday July 14th, Tunnel 2 at the Tunnels.
