how so? i thought it had a dawn of the dead type feel to it , but with massive insectoid creatures instead of zombies. maybe ive just got a soft spot for monster type movies, i am part of the 'jurassic park came out when i was 9' collective!

watched 'the mist' last night - i totally enjoyed it! Love the b-movie type story with better than b-movie effects !

this is exactly how i feel about it! alot of folk i show my stuff to are like 'you should stick with guitar your already good at that' sort of thing, but im not just doing it to try and get a commercial product anytime soon, im on a creative journey of musical discovery!! And if it takes a few years before its anything respectable then thats fine by me. I think once ive got the skills ill be able to do something new involving both my production and my guitar playing, which is something worth sounding shit for a bit for!

what neepheid said - im sure ive said something very similiar in the past! New system seems better, focuses on the positive which can only be good rather than it devolving into a 'fuck you and your opinion - im gona get all my online mateys to give u bad rep' sort of system. That definately doesnt help attract fresh people/perspectives/variety of musical taste to the board.

BF3 is awesome, i do notice alot of people who just expect another Modern Warfare type game getting pissed off with it becasue it isnt as arcadey, but i think that is what gives it a more long term appeal. Once you understand the flow of the maps and start working with the squad your in, approaching it as more of a 'team' game basically you get more points, rank faster and enjoy it much more. You also get some chaotic as fuck moments that makes the game really live up to its name! I just find it way more satisfying than Cod. The vehicles are amazing as well. Got skyrim a bout a week ago though and that game is so time consuming i havent had a chance to go back to BF yet but once the skyrim novelty wears off a bit ill be back! my gamertag is Exposed Nerve if anyone wants a good squad member.

fair enough man, ive been messing about with putting the 'dubstep' synths through guitar distortion, just trying to do something a bit different is all. Ill try it out with a cleaner synth. cheers for your thoughts by the way , with me being a beginner with this stuff any advice at all helps ! Not sure if ive heard King Midas, i might have , i listen to alot of mixes so sometimes im not aware of who each track actually is... Ill check him/them out.

If you havent played it yet, Batman:Arkham Asylum is a really good game you can get for cheap now! i only got it recently and was surprised by how good it is, and im not even much of a batman fan . its a 3rd person action/platformer/stealth/fighting game so theres a bit of variety. Dont be put off by the demo if you try it, as the game opens up into a sandbox after the linear 'training' section at the start and thats when it really gets going.

assuming their LED lights they wouldnt use that much energy, surely itd still generate more energy than not having a turbine at all..... cant believe not one of yous think that its kinda cool, ah well....
