Hiya See you have found the Blankest Year forum on Aberdeen music then. Right well heres a bit of an update on the band and we can maybe get this forum a bit less "blank" (rofl- thanks) Right After releasing the EP we have played a few gigs around the city, most recently at the Lemon Tree to raise funds for Aberdeen Foyer. It was really good and tonnes of people turned up for the show. Our next gig is on the 23rd of June and we are proud to announce that we are supporting the JB Conspiracy at Kef which we are all looking forward to. It is part of their Machine tour and you can check them out at: www.myspace.com/thejbconspiracy They are rather good and supporting LESS THAN JAKE later in the year. It really depends, I suppose we've just recorded this as a demo or a stepping stone to getting gigs, letting venues/ promoters hear us. We'll see what people think and get back to recording more tunes after we have played more gigs etc. Do you know any good promoters around Aberdeen and is the best way of getting gigs just handing in our CD to venues?
