So the score is... I've written some tracks in Cubase LE. I've made an audio mixdown and I'm happy with the song, it's just that it's 26mb as a wav file. How do I make the file smaller and more easy to send to friends and via e-mail etc? Any help would be appreciated

Inspired by the 'gear aims for 09' thread, I thought i'd see if this would work. Dunno if it's already up here, but what are your musical goals for 2009? I'll set the ball rolling by saying i'd like to perform in an original band using more electronic equipment such as drum machines and explore the genres of post rock, electronica and such like and maybe play a quite well promoted support slot or two and get a wee following going. What would you like out of 09?

Maybe that'll give the time to get the fucking campsite sorted though. What a bloody disgrace.

So let me get this straight. Say a member of the public sees a police officer reacting wildly to a situation and catches the situation with a photograph? Would they be able to use that photograph as evidence or would they be considered a criminal?

There should be set fees for businesses of certain sizes. I dunno if its been thought of already but a business of say 5 employees shouldn't need a license however a national sized business should have to pay a set yearly fee for all there shops etc.

It's been a long, long time since I played a game that was literally too harrowing to play. The campaign for this game at times is ridiculously brutal.

I'm sure a blanket license can be bought for the whole of the wood group company so that music can be played in the work place. We get taught about this all the time at college...maybe shoulda paid a bit more attention to it
