I am looking to sell my Musicman Stingray. I think it's a 2004 model, black with black scratchplate and maple fretboard/headstock. I have owned it for 18 months and never had any problems with it, but I recently bought a Fender USA Jazz Bass and have decided that it is more my sound than the Musicman. It is in very good/excellent condition, no buckle rash, the only blemish is a tiny white scratch on the back, it is only noticable if your looking for it. Also included in the sale is a hardcase, I'm not sure what brand it is and to be honest it is in fairly bad nick, but its something to store it in or use for transit.

Asking price is 800 quid but I will consider offers.

Hi, I might be interested in solving your problem. I'm 17 (18 in April), available on Sunday nights and share most of your influences (but launch in Guns n' Roses, Zeppelin and your just about there). I just have a couple of questions: 1. Is Tom's where you normally practice or is it somewhere else.

2. If it's somewhere else do I need to take my own amp or do you guys already have a bass amp.

I play/listen to G n R, AC/DC, Zep, Thin Lizzy, Queen, Foo Fighters, VR. Basically Nething rock tht isn't, punk, emo, featured heavily in NME or heavier than Metallica. Jst post as soon as you find ne1 and I'll do the same as I do.

sorry bout the l8 reply, been on holiday, I'm 17 (18 in April) and have only been playing bass for a year. I'm not amazing technically but I try. If you are up for giving me a go then I'm in if you can find a drummer.

Have you got a lower age limit on who can join? How much experience are you looking for? Where would practices be held?

You can get a standard J or P Bass from www.merchantcitymusic.com for £350, if you don't want to spend much at once they have a monthly payment scheme (about £30 a month for 12 months). This way you mite even be able to afford an American series.

I have lowered the price to £90

I only said that amount as a starter as Bruce Millers said I should be able to get 130 for the bass alone. I now realise that I was wanting too much and have lowered the price to 90.

I'm selling my first bass, its a one year old Squier P-bass in sunburst with a gig bag and Play Bass with Muse tab book. It has a couple of tiny little chips in the finish that you can't see unless you look for them. This bass is for sale as I need money to buy my dream bass that I found on E-bay and i'm really skint. I'm looking for 120 o.n.o. It is for sale elsewhere so you'd best be quivk if you want a cheap bass thats great for practising and screwing around on.

I wouldn't sell it otherwise as it is my first bass and has sentimental value. But anyway, how about the bass and the gig bag for 120 cash.
