  2. https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/2015-prs-pauls-guitar-swap-for-gibson-les-paul/1223151040

Hi, I bought this stunning guitar on a whim and whilst it's a thing of complete and utter beauty (even the hardcase is eye-catching) ... it's just not for me and I want another Les Paul.

Ideally, I'm looking for a Custom Shop in a 'burst colour, but will consider pre-2006 Standards + cash.

I'll also consider a straight sale.

All the details for the guitar are in the Gumtree hyperlink.

    Thanks for looking.

  3. Photos available on request as I can't seem to upload them here.

I am selling this superb amp to make way for a smaller combo, as I'm not getting any younger!!!

This is the second one of these I've owned and they are terrific all-rounders. The HT 40 is extremely versatile and almost noise-free - no buzzing, hissing or 'fried eggs'. I gigged extensively with the last one I owned and never had a bit of bother with it. The HT 40 gave me a great range of tones and cut through the mix with ease.

The amp is in excellent condition with only a few minor marks and some wear'n'tear on the carry handle.

Pick up a bargain at less than half the retail price.

NOTE : The footswitch is on my pedalboard, which I left at the studio, so I've used a library photo. Please be assured that the pedal is in good working order and in good general condition.

    Manufacturer's Blurb ...
Equipped with 2 channels and 4 modes the Blackstar HT Club 40 is an ideal gigging tube amp for club-sized venues. The 40W EL34-driven power amplifier has amazing punch and dynamics that will easily cut through in a full band situation. Switching to the amazing overdrive channel-equipped with ISF (Infinite Shape Feature)-accesses 2 more modes: 'classic crunch' and 'super saturated lead.'

The Clean Channel on the Blackstar Venue tube amp has 2 modes, 'boutique' and 'modern' and its own Tone control provides a wide range of clean tones. The Voice switch reconfigures both the preamplifier voicing and gain structure, and the power amplifier damping, to reproduce either ringing Class A Performance in the 'boutique' mode, or very clean and tight Class AB tones in the 'modern' setting.

The Overdrive Channel has its own EQ section and a Voice switch that allows the character of the channel to be changed, providing a wide variety of overdriven tones.

The channel is characterized by a tone that's high in gain, but lacks any of the detached top-end 'fizz' often found in similar designs. This is a result of unique preamplifier and power amplifier shaping techniques, which cleans up the overdrive beautifully as the guitar volume is reduced. Even at the most extreme settings, the overdrive channel remains natural sounding. The ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) control is unique to Blackstar Amplification and represents a major step forward in tone shaping flexibility. The Blackstar amplifier's ISF control shifts the response of the 3-control tone stack between a US-type response at one end, and at the other a UK-type response. The tube amp provides an infinite number of alternative tone choices in between the 2 extremes that would be otherwise unavailable.

The Blackstar HT Club 40 tube amp also features a completely natural sounding digital reverb, which is outstandingly musical on both clean and crunch tones. A Dark/Bright switch allows the overall reverb characteristics to be modified to suit different tastes and playing styles.

  4. This excellent amp has to go as part of my attempt to "thin the herd" a bit. The amp comes in its original box and with the 2-button footswitch (not normally supplied with the amp).

Unfortunately I can't post any photos, but the amp is 'lunchbox' sized and really cool looking in chrome. The amp is in perfect working order and in excellent cosmetic condition.

£225  - I can send in the UK it for £20

Vox NT50H Night Train 50 Amp Head

The two-channel Night Train 50 features an all-tube, Class AB amplifier design delivering 50 Watts of power. The BRIGHT channel provides the inimitable VOX chime sound, plus a footswitchable THICK mode that bypasses the EQ for extra gain; the high-gain GIRTH channel utilizes an extra pre-amp tube for more crunch. The Master section includes the Master Volume and the VOX Tone Cut control, plus the TIGHT switch which attenuates the low-frequency range. Add your favorite effect using the true bypass FX Loop. An optional VFS2A footswitch allows switching channels and activating the THICK mode.

  5. I dont know if your allowed to admit this or not, but Seven Pounds is the only film i have shed a wee tear over.

I shed a tear every time I see Will Smith's name attached to a movie. He's worse than shite. He has two expressions - Big Smiley or Constipatedly Serious. Nice guy, but stick to comedy ...and please, please steer your son towards a non-showbiz career. The kid can't even speak English  - listen to the opening monologue in After Earth - "human race" sounded like "hooomaaaa raaaaay"

Back on topic ...the end scene in Field of Dreams and the bit where Forrest Gump meets his son both raise a lump in my throat :)

  6. If u have it deisel is it the genuine article?

Nah - just bending the truth a bit. I never even saw the advert. I did, however pick up a 1994 USA Tele, red badge hardcase, case candy the lot for literally coppers a few weeks ago. It's the real thing. It plays and sounds as good as it looks :)

  7. I'm editing a book at the moment written by the guy who voiced Scott Tracey, Shane Rimmer, really nice guy, with some acting resume, but he was also Dick Spanner PI :)

    Unfortunate name.

The 'Birds was a great program. Plausible technology, well developed plots and the best musical score ever.

Hollywood made a cunt of the movie though.

Can't say I remember Dick Spanner.

I bought one to replace my lost iPod Nano, then found out that I'm going to get a new Nano from Santa.

The Walkman is completely brand new and still in it's unopened packaging. It would be a great Christmas present for someone.

Swap for a guitar-based product, straight swap or cash either way.
