This is something im very much looking forward too. I saw GY!BE, Fly Pan-Am and Sigur Rós at the Lemon Tree gig. Whilst I have caught Sigur Rós many times since, I have never managed to see a Constellation band again.
Project:venhell - Quite possibly the loudest band I have ever heard in my life. Quite decent musicians too. If your in the area, its well worth 3 quid.
What an enjoyable weekend. Highlights for me included: BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE THE LILYS TEENAGE FANCLUB MC DAVID CROSS LIGHTNING BOLT JOANNA NEWSOM BOREDOMS 1990'S THE SHINS CLINIC THE BLACK KEYS ELECTRELANE Went to see Broken Social Scene at the Koko in London last week and most definately one of the best shows I have been too. Tremendous.
Wasnt keen on the first support band to be honest. However I though the 2nd support were quite good musically and had some quite interesting moments but I wasnt too sure about the singer, I just didnt think his voice went well with the rest of the band.
Not a bad gig but by no means the gig that was going to save Aberdeen. Leaves- Inflated ego central who tried to sound like the Doves but failed on all levels.
