  1. When did Jerry Cantrell join Creed? Did I miss a meeting?
  2. How come these sort of things always seem to happen to you??
  3. You? In charge of people? Oh dear...
  4. Did you actually go and read his website - if you did you would see that he raises money for charity by climbing these buildings...Anyway, most climbers I know have been known to solo on buildings (often when pissed), he's just taken it to an extreme. Vertigo isn't the same as a fear of heights (acrophobia, I think). Vertigo is a weird dizzy sensation that some people get when near big drops (what climbers would call airy or exposed). I know - I get it. Doesn't stop me climbing though... That guy is still a git for being such a good climber.
  5. Slander I tell you. Slander. *shakes fist* It's nice to see that there is at least 1 other person that thinks we're OK! Cheers min... It'll probably be a few months before we're in a position to gig...but we're getting there...generally best to think of us as hardcore-influenced metal more than hardcore (although we have been dabbling with beatdowns). We are hoping to have some decent pyramids at our gigs though!
  6. yeah man, I know. I missed it for some reason. Can't remember why now, but I was gutted...maybe I'll get to see them some day...
  7. The Haunted Darkest Hour The Great Deceiver Cypress Hill Neurosis Clutch Entombed Opeth Sepultura Dead to Fall
  8. umm, weren't the vocals on the Jerry Cantrell solo albums by Jerry Cantrell? He did actually sing a fair bit in AIC anyway...
  9. At the Gates - World of Lies Neurosis - A sun that never sets Clutch - Mob Goes Wild Iron Monkey - Supagorgonizer Johnny Cash - Hey Porter Fleetwod Mac - Oh Well
  10. That was the video/song that got me into hardcore. Saw it on "Noisy Mothers" on ITV (showing my age). One question though - does anyone know why all the emo-types seem to enjoy pointing at the ceiling when they dance?
  11. This is on here with loads of other rules... http://www.live4metal.com/cradleoffun.htm The rules for hardcore are the best ones. Especially like the bit about ankles being hardcore.
  12. Everyone says that, but I think it's fairly hard to do (assuming we're talking about the aircooled flat-six from the 80's 911). There's not really the space unless you do fairly drastic bodymods...better with one of the big bore beetle kits - I heard there's a company in the states making 2600cc type 1 motors now! Or a turbo. I've seen intercoolers mounted on top of the engine cover before... The porker motor fits in a Karmann Ghia though... Nice bug though Hog. One of my mates used to have something similar - Could beat a Golf VR6 at the lights, but topped out around 70 too, untill he fitted huge twin-choke carbs...then it was nearer 95
  13. It didn't manage Ring of Fire by Johhny Cash, but when I tried Would? By Alice in Chains it told me it was Ring of Fire...Spooky, but still crap!
  14. Vision Of Disorder - Imprint Clutch - Blast Tyrant The Haunted - rEVOLVEr Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire best of thingy +some mix CD's
