I've just started. Had the mod version and bought the standalone a few days ago. I know this will be sneered at but I'm trying to set up a working xbox control pad setup using xpadder. anyone got any experience or suggestions of a layout? I dont know the actions well enough yet. I want a keyboard/mouse and controller hybrid setup so i can run around, shoot, scavenge etc with the control pad but all the menu based UI actions would be handled with the mouse and keys. are there too many actions for this to be viable?

i've got a box thats banned from live with about 40 games for sale. you can just swap out boxes to play backups of games (that you already own of course) and gain achievements. it's the console that's banned, it doesnt have any bearing on your profile. unfortunately i have no spare pads so ideally this would have to go so someone who already has an xbox and just wants the ability to play backups. has latest dash if anyone wants more info on gmaes list etc PM i also have a spare dual layer DVD burner (the one you need to burn backups) if needed. i've switched to pc gaming so i've got a bunch of xbox games for sale and would consider selling the kinect too. (it has its uses on the PC so may keep it)

is it just me or do fat boy's images always display as red X's? could be the filter at work.

you could get gloves. i used to use ahead gloves. took a bit of getting used to but definitely saved on the blisters. i played with heavier sticks before but moved to lighter ones now and changed my grip a little, not so much of a problem
