  1. Hmm, B.O.B seems to only be doing the English dates. What a racist. Would've quite liked to have seen Airplanes live. Otherwise, it's only Fun supporting, who sound like some kind of 70s package holiday band.
  2. I do like how Rothko's in there. I think I like them more than I like Rothko's stuff though.
  3. I think I like Honda ads as much as I like Old Spice ads, but the good thing is that I see Honda ads on TV more.
  4. I watched a programme about Goldsmiths' degree show once and they said that once, one girl just got up on a table, pooed in a jar and then spray painted the jar gold and left. Shit sounds nuts.
  5. Performance art isn't really my bag anyway, but, what was that? If I hated myself enough to watch it again I'd try and figure out what she was spelling, to maybe see if it makes any sense, at all, but I don't hate myself that much, so I won't.
  6. Has she tried the NHS Grampian website? It sounds pretty obvious, but I couldn't imagine many GP practices turning down folk with decent experience and there's always a tonne of listings.
  7. I liked Bassment. I went to my first two gigs ever in Moshulu as well. Sad times. However, why would they NOT sound-proof it when it was refurbed into a venue originally? I hope O2 or something buys Warehouse; it'd be nice to have a medium-sized venue in Aberdeen.
  8. All my friends pretty much hate music, but I reposted, but I don't think it helped all that much.
  9. What would the stage times be like? I might not be able to get down until like 9:30pm.
  10. Nah, even creepier. You were going into a flat opposite the vets.
  11. Ross (vega) pointed Teabags out to me and during this process I gained one prime stalk of Teabags.
  12. I thought the middle bit (I think it was the middle bit?) in this seemed like forever. It's a good film, but I think a lot of it was filler. If the titles weren't so cool and I didn't like Downey Jr so much I think I'd have liked this film less. I went to see A Bout De Souffle sometime last week and it was awesome. A bit confusing (or I thought?) at the start, but very good once you get into it. Going to crack on through my Hitchcock boxset sometime this week, along with seeing Heartbreaker at some point too. Should be fun times.
  13. Is this a good 'een? I've liked everything else, but I'm scared he'll go downhill or something. I bought Broken Bells - s/t as it was in the sale in One Up, and the new Holy Fuck album as it came with a free EP. Bargains.com. Haven't bought any new CDs in an age, had to stop myself spending everything I've earned.
  14. AECC seem to be looking for casual catering staff and such like. Just put your name and e-mail address into the wee box on their website and they should e-mail you with the number to call for the next recruitment thing. There also seems to be a lot of new people starting as Domestics at the hospital, so you could always phone ARI and see if they're still looking?
  15. How would that be a good idea whoever it was? What was your mate thinking? Seriously.
  16. My dog goes here: Ashgrove Veterinary Centre They seem to be good; they were the nearest to us so I think that's why we picked them. EDIT: Yeah, just jumping on the bandwagon. AVC seems to be a good een.
  17. Is there any chance Min Diesel and Simon Gall will be on after 9:30pm?
  18. Bit gutted that I probably won't be able to come to this 'cause I'll be back at uni.

    Your current read?

I'm still going with In Cold Blood, it's been 10 months, I plan to finish it very soon. I also plan to finish Ali Smith - Girl Meets Boy and Slaughterhouse 5 before the end of August/when I start uni.
  20. These are probably a bit generic, but I'm not a countryside kind of person, so I think the beach at BOD and Seaton Park are affy nice?
  21. There is no reason to be guilty when talking about Paramore. I love Paramore, I'm definitely going to try and get a ticket. I have to get up to buy an Eels one tomorrow an' all.
  22. Seeing as it's already been bumped... Amelie, Garden State, Pulp Ficition, Kill Bill and Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? all have awesome soundtracks.
  23. Morbid curiousity got the best of me. That was horrible. The Moors murders is a pretty harrowing read too. Definitely top 5. Today I learnt that I have a top 3 (at least) of most harrowing Wikipedia articles. I also realized that when I'm older and have money I want to go to an Art School degree show and actually buy something.
  24. Beautiful Mountain (sandwich shop on Belmont St) are hiring Full Timers atm.
