Another post about my assistants job *sigh* My assistant recently quit due to uni pressures (I've no idea how he managed to fit it in for so long!) which leaves me assistant-less yet again I've so far had 9 CV's accross my desk, all of them rubbish. From the girl who couldn't be arsed writing a covering letter, to the lady who couldn't be arsed writing a CV at all, the girl who got straight grade 6's for her standard grades, and the guy who doesn't even have a work permit... all shocking ?( Anyway, anyone want the job? send me your CV! I've exerted from the job discription, all the important bits.

Aye, but they are getting slowly phased out if you'd noticed.... I can't think of a bass rig which i have any bother getting a decent sound out of so thats cool for me.... I have problems with the power in room 1 overloading my pedalboard though all the other rooms are fine

Got given a bugle recently.... I can only make parping noises just now but soon I'll be playing concerto's I'm sure Otherwise, I've been trying to master Mr De Garancelle by Manuel Ponce on ma classical.... Got the overture but the rest of it is nuts

I'm pretty neutral about it. I hate the commercialism, the cooking (which I'm managing to skive for the first time since I was 10 - Yaay! ) and feeling obliged to buy people things if i can't think what they would like... I tend to buy people presents all year round, if i see something someone would like I get them it - simple.... But i like the Christmas bonus, the time off work, sparkly lights and chocolate.... There isn't any point in hating Christmas, there isn't any avoiding it so you might as well just roll with the festivities BC thinks....

Well Said! I am going tonight anyway... got offered a free ticket and as much free beer as I can consume, so that was too good an offer to pass up! Havent seen them before but I've been practicing shaking my booty superspeed all day in preperation...

No I haven't heard of them but last week I posted a parcel down to my Sister in Edinburgh from the Post Office in Tillydrone. The parcel got delivered to my work on Monday. My work's address wasn't even on the box! I have come to the conclusion that that as the box had previously been delivered to my work and still had a couple of bar codes on, they must of scanned those? The Address label with my Sisters address was in Inch high writing on an A4 sheet of paper that covered 1 of the sides of the box! Anyway, 9 squids to get a parcel delivered to myself - bloody Imbaciles!

My dad tried to use the same 'technicality' to get us into pets corner at Hazelhead.... The stupid thing was, the family ticket only saved us a pound, and he got quite irate at the poor peep at the gates

Prison is not about trying to reform people... Thats something new, and tbh, they might as well give it a go but don't forget The prisons are mostly supposed to punish people for crimes they have committed, by taking away their liberties......

I freely admit to abusing the Internet at work... Mostly on another site these days but I make it back here occasionally... Lots of sites are banned tho (bebo, myspaz, internet mail, ebay etc) I don't have a phoneline or computer at home and recently when I broke my mobile I only had the PM function on the forums to keep in touch so I got into the habit and now I can't help myself! Plus I was assigned an assistant so I had an extra 30 hours a week to play with and the same amount of work to share between us. Schweet days!

I dunno - The peavey Bass thing was sounding like farts the other day when i was in there... Although that was probably user error! I have to say Toms but I'm bias

I put my bf through uni on 2.98/hour (admittedly ten years ago tho) you manage on what you have, simple as that....... My employer keeps our wages 50p above min wage.... It's still shit

I've never stayed, but have been for many fantastic meals in Cafe Royal - I'd recommend that place...........
