  1. Yes BC is a far calmer and placid already *sigh* like a weight of negativeness has been lifted from my shoulders... Ahhhhhh
  2. No... They aren't my thing..... a bit tinny I thought My Bass FX have gone a bit xtreme since I got the pedal board... I forgot that having all those power supplies available, doesn't mean I have to use them all..... If Sids on at Toms when youre jammin next, ask him for a shot of my board spoonie, you'll laff yer bollocks off!
  3. Have they? I had no idea. Got fond memories of watching the quine whilst waiting for the cartoons to come on at silly o'clock on a Saturday Morning.... Oh to be young and undrunken of a weekend....
  4. Oh Fab! I thought that Ignore User button just meant that they couldn't PM you. I didn't realise it means you can avoid their posts too! Yaay!
  5. Deuchars = Ambrosia..... I frequent all bars that sell it and boycott the ones that dont.... Unless they have a good band on that is....
  6. No good for peeps like me who are forced to buy their festival tickets before work decides if I can have the time off. Previously, it hasn't been a problem, because I know that if I can't go, I can sell them on (I've never sold a ticket for more than it cost me to buy) so I'll probably do european ones again
  7. Big Muffs rool! You had a shotty of the double muff yet? It's feckin insane!
  8. I found my dream bass, and can't imagine ever playing anything else...... I hope to never have to buy another! Anyway Gasss, How many strings you after? 4 or 5?
  9. You buy a guitar every day ?( You must be gettin paid too much!
  10. Me too.... If I win it you can have it (maybe for some pintage)
  11. True Spoonie - Nae bad for the cash.... I used to have a Westone Thunderbass - it was pretty darn good, especially in the studio, could be set to passive or active and had a built in pre-amp.... Got it out of a pawn shop for £40, sold it for £150 a couple of years back.... Nice bass though, maybe you should look on E-bay for one of those? But at the end of the day, everyone likes something a bitty diffrent, and buying guitars off t'interweb is a hit and miss affair... I've bought a few, a couple of them I love, but I've wasted more on ones I've hated...... At least you ccan always sell it on again I spose!
  12. If they increased the scale a bit, I think a low G would work OK.... The treble would suffer a bit though.... o_O But a high A would be useful too right enough... Maybe they need to do a 9 string version....8-) I've played a 16 string Lute before, it was cool, you'd think all those strings would make it harder to play but all it means is that the note you want is always close by - schweet! And yes, fanned frets would be very cool
  13. Thats not fair! You blokes have the masons! lol
  14. No thanks - got a new one
  15. So 8 strings? would that be an extra Low B & G? or a Low B and a high A? I play an Ibanez ATK 305 bass - Its feckin awsome, so dont slag Ibanez off. Most well known guitar brands make rubbish guitars too
  16. I did... 4 years ago now
  17. I was there that year..... My bf was a fan..... So I went to see Shed 7 and managed to avoid the whole gig
  18. I always use Thomann to buy everything, They usually go out of their way to give excellent service, and I've never waited more than a week for anything I've ordered off them.... They are Germans - most efficient! Have you e-mailed the customer assistant that sent your confirmation e-mail? Each order is assigned to a real person, so you can always get a speedy reply. In short, don't worry, if the parcel goes/has gone missing, Thomann will replace it and probably give you a euro-credit-note for causing you any trouble........
  19. Oh I see! I need someone to be there at some point most days. but the nature of the work is that there are very few deadlines and there isn't anything needs done that cant wait till tomorrow... My department is pretty laid back and chilled At first I spose we would have to work similar hours so I can train you, but it's not rocket science believe me! so that wont take long.
  20. I thought white chocolate was for little cowboys with round glasses?
  21. Although you have to hire cymbals...which is only a pound an hour...
  22. It's not the darkness of the chocolate thats so bad, it's the lack of cocoa butter so it doesn't melt in your mouth..... Yuk, like eating coffee beans
  23. Get back into the noughties with ya! Wonderstuff aren't cool in the real world anymore
  24. I want the Ashdown gear but i don't have 500 squids Poo!....
  25. Like it says, 16 hours a week, but the building is only open from 8-6 so you couldn't work at night...........
