  1. No you wouldnt, its shit! I live pretty much in the centre of town and its impossible to move anywhere without being surrounded by tourists asking you questions or just generally getting in your way. Its awful. More traffic congestion and pedestrains thinking they have right of way on the road is another down side. Basically, to anyone who doesnt live in Edinburgh - its great. If you live in Edinburgh, its the worse month ever!
  2. Not a deadline as such - best to get the recording to us by about November time though.
  3. Yes, to an extent. The three of us working on RaptureFest have different musical interests although common our ground is metal. We are going to make the bands on show a bit more varied from this year - which was very metalcore genre focused (without trying to pigeonhole anyone) although this wasnt deliberate. By judging bands on musically ability, in theory, it gives smaller, less well known bands a chance of playing a large festival in front of say at least 1000 people (the projected crowd).
  4. Exit Ten With tour support : LifeBlind
  5. www.rapturefest.com (we are having trouble updating this site at the moment) www.myspace.com/rapturefest * Every band will be judged on their musical abilty rather than their following and reputation.
  6. Mendeed return to Edinburgh with support from local bands Today It Ends, Open Tomb and Glasgow's The Threat Remains. Tickets are available from Ripping Records and Ticket Scotland (Edinburgh) as well online here.
  7. Everyone, go along and check this band out - they are shit hot! Im gutted that I cant put them on in Edinburgh as I am holiday at the time!
  8. You are indeed correct - yourcodenameis : PISH
  9. You can listen to LifeBlind @ www.purevolume.com/lifeblind or there are some songs for download at their website www.lifeblind.tk LifeBlind will be in Aberdeen at the end of March/beginning or April playing with Reasons Are Red so go and check them out!
  10. You're right, I do actually! Shit hot!
  11. Aberdeen is just packed full sarcastic cunts who think they are funny! I was only looking for a bit of feedback and instead get a load of pointless comments from wannabe comedians!
  12. LifeBlind are a four-piece melodic metal band that hails from East Kilbride. Having been established for over two years, LifeBlind have performed many successful concerts around Glasgow and more recently in Scotlands capital, Edinburgh. They have a set that's packed with their own material and are playing all around the country gaining respect from venues, journalists and the public alike. With their blend of soaring melodies with vocal aggression influenced by Trust Company, Deftones, Taproot, and Lostprophets, their hard work they have managed to get a devoted group of fans and a good vibe about them. The guys have had the honour of releasing the new EP while sharing a stage with stellar US Metaller's Static-X at Glasgow's Carling Academy in June of 2004. The new EP - available for download at www.purevolume.com/lifeblind - sums up what they've been doing over the last 3 years which is working hard, having a riot, meeting some awesome bands (and friends) along the journey. Check LifeBlind out at www.lifeblind.tk Thanks for your time
