  1. I heart the Kilau Xmas CD. Lots. I heart you, Alan Cynic. Lots.
  2. Quoi? Sorry, I realise this is a super old thread but I never even realised that No Pasaran review existed. I've been living in a cave for the past year. Soooo...Snow Patrol...I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry. Or vomit. I feel a bit numb. I must go have a lie down... Nonetheless, the review was an interesting and informative read Thank you muchly for listening Aberzine!
  3. Lying dormant... Aw shucks Mr Idol Phil Wild...even though you posted this donkeys ago, I've only just found it and reading it was like a great big hug :O I knew there was something I missed about Aberdeen... P.S. can you come down to shout at Jim for being useless?
  4. I'm so utterly confused. Are we talking about coffee or cardigans or music? hmmm...I'm too scared to post on aberdeen-music these days just because of people snapping at each other, anal nitpicking (perhaps I phrased that wrongly...) or the hostility projected in replies to posts (not just in this thread, but in general). But then again I am a huge coward. Er, anyway. I'm going to go cower away from the computer screen before everybody explodes.
  5. Phil, you're a great big poo. And you know why. As big a poo as Scott even.
  6. Ahahahahahaha. Ha. As Malc pointed out, I liked the fact that Jesus was there supporting us in the background on TV, preceded by an episode of Eastenders. Wow.
  7. A comeback from the Eyes of Pandas! Very very VERY nice stuff last night guys, esp. the last song (the new 'un). The Tingle rocks my socks right off. Every time. Lovely stuff The thing that aggravated me the most about this gig was just the sheer amount of utter morons who were too busy being noisy and paying no attention whatsoever to the shudderingly wonderful Erinn Williams. An appreciative Aberdeen audience is slowly becoming a myth. Wankers.
  8. Naw, I think his constant demands for music and groovy moves he was busting out were a homage to Kartta's brilliant tunes. You guys were stonkin' ace!
  9. A Yong beating? Never! Well Mr Cynic, as my hands are quite small, a bare knuckled beating would be useless. So my weapon of choice - the banjo. Hospitalization through either a good bop on the head, or my playing I had a spiffingly wonderful time last night - it was GREAT
  10. I'm female but not talented, hmmm...I don't think I have the pre-requisites needed. Damn
  11. Country-tinged songs of love, landscape and the people we once knew played by five people who would like to be remembered for all the right reasons.
  12. Jim's right - we've taken Neil's sticks away and replaced them with Jess' head. The vacuousness of such a head will give our music a more pleasant, hollow sounding beat. Boom boom
  13. Maria will be playing as part of the Acoustic Night at The Tunnels, Aberdeen on Tuesday 19th June + support.
  14. I agree Mr Cynic. Although, perhaps a 'Jess' could be known as a collector of minkers. Does this mean I get to club minks over the head?
