    For sale, a six channel Laney PA system, consisting of a CD630M amp with EQ, six XLR and jack inputs, CD in, AUX in, FX out, power consumption 450W. Also included: two Laney speakers, model CT15, 400W, 8ohm. Condition is used, there are a few scuffs as you might expect, but it works a treat, everything you need to get a small band up and gigging (apart from leads, which I'm not including). Based in central Aberdeen, I can deliver locally if you need me to, thanks for looking!

    Tanglewood Evolution TB BABY Traveller Acoustic Guitar, really great instrument, small, lightweight, lovely acoustic sound, mint condition, boxed with all original hangtags, truss key, and a self adhesive scratchplate that's not been applied, so you can decide whether it needs it. Features include:

    Cedar top, Mahogany Back & Sides, Maple bound body, Rosewood fingerboard, Chrome Grover style machine heads, Bone Saddle, Satin finish, Abalone rosette.

    This is a really sweet little guitar.

    100 only- bargain!

  7. Godin Fifth Avenue Archtop Acoustic guitar

    Godin Fifth Avenue Archtop Acoustic guitar for sale, great condition, has been used, but very carefully looked after.

    These are tremendous guitars that always get terrific reviews as you can find out by googling, this one has been slightly modified with the inclusion of a Schaller Oyster pickup, which means there is a jackhole installed in the top, just below the scratchplate.

    The Oyster is not a particularly high grade pickup, so I want to make it absolutely clear, the auction is for the GUITAR ONLY, but I'm throwing in the Oyster for free.

    Great guitar for blues, jazz, in fact pretty much most styles, but it's got that authentic archtop "thrang" that makes this style of guitar so desirable.

    Looking for approx 300, but make me an offer I can't refuse....

    Deluxe Players Strat in stunning Sapphire blue

    These things are 599 new, I'm looking for 350, lots of info and specs here:

    This one is in terrific, but used condition. You can see it's been played, there is a bit of a dent in the finish which I have circled in one of the pics, one of the tuners has taken a slight knock but it's still in perfectly functioning condition

    Some bumf:

    The Deluxe Player Stratocaster guitar is a revised version of the former Super Strat. A true workhorse of a guitar, it has been upgraded with U.S.-made Vintage Noiseless pickups, and it features a 12 neck radius, medium-jumbo frets and a push-button switch that gives you seven different pickup combinations!

    Line-up: Local jazz musicians

    Start Time: 8pm TOMORROW

    After a busy summer schedule it's time once again for JAZZnet, Aberdeen's premier Jazz open mic night. All musicians/singers welcome, free entry and free to play. 8pm - 12pm, wed 1st september, upstairs in The Old king's highway, next door to RnB music.

    Last month we had sax players, keys players, guitar, singers, trumpet and drummers joining the house band on stage. Bring your own music or just have a jam.

    Following on from the success of our first night last month, JAZZNET will be holding another open jazz session on wed 2nd June, again upstairs at The Old Kings Highway, The Green, Aberdeen. Starting around 8pm.

    Sit in with the house band made up of local established jazz musicians, all instrumentalists and singers welcome, NO CHARGE FOR PERFORMING, this is a free open session, not pay per play.

    Last month we had guitarists, singers, sax players and drummers joining in.

    ABERDEEN'S NEW JAZZ SESSION/OPEN MIC.

    Starts wed april 28th 8pm, upstairs in The Old Kings Highway, down on the Green (next door to R&B Music).

    A chance to come and listen to some groovy jazz and also join in with the house musicians in an open mic session.

    Just bring along your instrument or your voice, and the willingness to get up on stage.

    Doors open at 8pm, free entry

    We're hoping to continue the session on a monthy basis, holding it on the first wednesday of every month.

    For sale - CORT SJ-3 jumbo acoustic guitar

    I originally bought this as a replacement for a Gibson J185 that I foolishly sold, this guitar was damn close to the Gibson, lightweight, same dimensions, you can see in the photos that it's got gorgeous flamed back and sides, nice detailing etc. Got a fine low action, and it's got a really loud, clear sound. I fitted a Fishman AG094 undersaddle pickup, I'm looking for 190 without the pickup, or 230 with the pickup

    After a bit of hunting round, I've found out that this guitar is now known as the CJ-3, as shown here:
