I'm not sure I'd give any credence to the argument that intelligence is related to depression. Just look at folk like Ricky Hatton or Frank Bruno who have had well publicised problems. It's definitely the case however that depression sufferers who are in the public eye and have had 'successful' careers get far more press attention than sufferers who don't. That doesn't mean that one is more commonplace than the other though.

It's actually very widespread among people who are apparently successful. One of my best friends is a freelance clinical psychologist, and among her clients she has several high-flying businessmen/women including company directors, CEOs. Basically, intelligent family people, earning mega-bucks, living in beautiful houses, driving fast cars etc. The perceived relationship between depression and success is completely incorrect and is at the root of why depression is so misunderstood.

Epic facepalm. Oh, and erm...reputation? A "reputation" is an opinion held by the community at large, not by yourselves as a club you inwardly- looking fuckwit. I would defer to someone who knows more about electronic kits than me. I've just heard that the Yamahas are decent, but don't have much empirical evidence to back it up. Certainly you're operating at the "budget" end of the market, but I've no idea whether a cheap Roland is better than a cheap Yamaha....or vice versa.

Yamaha DTX and DTXlporer range is decent. Haven't played the cheaper kits, but pretty sure that the range starts well below £800. Roland are king when it comes to electronic kits, but prob outside your budget.

Presumably Boca Jrs and River Plate are the fan groups with all the power? Their derby fixture is definitely on my bucket list. Looks like an insane atmosphere. I also love River Plate because they have the best stadium name in the world: "El Monumental"......fucking yass.
