  1. Hey everyone Thought some of you 'musos' could help me with this one if you don't mind. I was in triple kirks a while ago when the video jukebox thing played a tune that I really liked. The song was very 70's, although I am sure it is relatively new. The vocals were very Marc Bolan-y and the guitars were similarly suited. The video was black n white, and consisted of 40's/50's (probably) American footage of people being saved, baptised and being exstatic etc etc. Anyway any help identifying the band in question would be much appreciated guys!!
  2. nope, and nope. But thanks for the help guys.
  3. Does anyone know who did a cover of hey Jude? I realise a lot of artists have done one, but the one I have heard is very 70s glam rock ish. It also has a 2nd chorus (ie a new orignal one)
  4. i voted for Holues Of Holy just for D'yer Ma'ker
  5. I'd easy hae a jam we you Johnathan, but dinna expect me ti tune doon ti A and stuff. infact I probably would bide at concert tunin ti piss u aff. I have never hard of One Minute but I quite like the Doors, i like experimental ie Mars Volta and I've heard a lot of realy good heavy jams. The trick to get a really good sounding heavy riff is to bide in concert tuning (normal tuning -EADGBE) tuning down just to sound heavier is lame, writing something aggressive sounding in normal tuning takes a lot more skill.
  6. sounds cool what kind of music are you guys into A rehersal room was actually was I was thinking, it's expensive but is handiest for everyone
  7. it could be chili's influenced, but not exactly a chili peppers cover band. Heavy is ok in moderation as long as it not metal 4 me
  8. Anyone keen on starting a band with me? I'm a decent guitarist into RHCP led zeppelin jimi hendrix the doors T-Rex Velvet Underground Mars Volta etc etc. I have some material written in midi form and a couple of shit Mp3's. Keen to start a band based on jamming with other competent musicians, anyone considered though.
