  1. Um, does that 1 Guitar constitute yourself, or yours truely? Andy
  2. I had a chance to have a blast with a Peavy Valve King not so long ago. Have to report, I was well impressed. I was sceptical about the price as well, but they sound fantastic I even compared it to a Marshall DSL stack. I'm planning on buying the 50W head as soon as I'm not skint. Andy
  3. I dunno, I had mixed feelings. I did enjoy it, but at the same time I did leave a little dissappointed. It just felt a little flat. The characters weren't fleshed out enough and it just didn't have the charm of the original. I just hope the 3rd one delivers. ~Andy
  4. Ibanez Acoustic AW Series Guitar for sale. Purchased from Bruce Millars for 200 about 6 weeks ago. I'm a bit tight for cash, and have found I've barely used the thing so: Model: AW 100 (Link: Specs) Condition: As New Colour: Natural Wood Asking Price: 120 (Or Near Offer) Cheers, Andy
  5. Seagulls are cunts! I mind one snatched my Marks & Spencer chicken and sweetcorn sandwich right out of my hand just by the B.A. centre! Another time, a seagull swooped down and tried to grab my mate's burger as he was putting it in his mouth! The thing caught a bit of his lip and he had to fight it off carefully to avoid losing his bottom lip! Andy
  6. Hey to all you drummers. Our band currently needs a drummer (surprise, surprise!). We have 5 original songs (with more on the way) written and a couple of covers sorted. We're looking to be hitting the stage ASAP. So drop me a PM if you're into it! There's a rough demo on our myspace to give you an idea what we'll be doing: Dragstrip Ragdolls Myspace Influences: Motley Crue, Backyard Babies, Guns N' Roses, L.A. Guns, Kiss, Hardcore Superstar, Tattooed Millionaires, Wildhearts, W.A.S.P (to name a few) Current Line-Up Mick Maverick - Vocals Roxxi Roullette - Guitars Smash Alley - Guitars Acey Trixx - Bass Cheers! ~Andy (Roxxi Roullette)
  7. That's no fun Part of the banter was the inane bullshit bitching Andy
  8. Couldn't agree more. The banter is practically non existant, as rules are far too tight nowadays. I used to love the massive bitch fests and handbags at dawn. Andy
  9. I'm looking into staining my transparent black-top guitar red, then putting a glossy sort of finish to it. I don't have the first clue how to go about it. Can anyone give me advice on how I'd do it, or recommend the best place to have it done professionally? Cheers Andy
  10. I might be up for it. PM me with more details? Andy
  11. In my opinion Pros: Sound lovely Look lovely Well built Cons: Heavy Hard to play Over-priced Andy
  12. Link: Postman Pat This is fuckin' hilarious! Andy
  13. So take all, and bin / sell what you don't need? Andy
  14. So take all, and bin what you don't need? Andy
  15. If you're interested in playing lead guitar in a big fuck off OTT rock n' roll band, gimme a hauler. Andy
  16. "I have a tick on my balls, it's rather uncomfortable." Andy
  17. *Bump* Still VERY available. Andy xx
  18. "What!!! who you going to play to then, your mates, your folks, the sound man? That has to be one of the most pap things I've heard for years...Well done you made me laugh anyway;)" I know the kind of music I want to play wont attract a HUGE following, but I believe there is at least some market for it. I just do what I wanna do, and if I just play to the sound guy, so be it "It just grips my shite when I see someone slagging off the other type of bands off. Namely guys from an original band slagging of cover bands." I'm not slagging covers bands man, I just said, I don't think the best starting point for a band (I should have maybe said: band intending to do original material), is to start with covers. Andy
  19. I don't mind the sound of the clips, but I'm not sure if it sounds half as good as his last effort: Music For Speeding. I'll reserve judgement until I get it though. Andy
