  1. I work in Gap Kids, tis ok. I'm also a student, which is shitness.
  2. I'd love to see someone wearing that on the streets of Aberdeen. I'd bid myself but I'm an extra small, so watchagonnado? I did buy this tho... http://www.marshmallowboutique.co.uk/vintage/images/products/blue_check/zoom1.jpg shiiine!
  3. The bottom was always full of vomit as well.
  4. Just had one. A bit disspointing, not enough creme in theme.
  5. One of my flatmates has a bedroom covered in mouldy towels and he has no sheets as such, just a few beach towels and a dressing gown. He eats nothing but pesto, which he burns, and over-cooked cabbage. After a shower he comes into the sitting room witha dressing gown on, dripping wet, and for the next half hour rubs himself dry with his dressing gown.
  6. A good musican (in terms of being in a band) is more about being able to play well with other people, I'd say. Knowing howe pars fit togther etc. And a complicated tune is not inherently better than a simple one anyway.
  7. Yeah, it's weird, cos it's effectively outlawing a person's interpretation of a song. It's like arresting people who say Rainy Day Women is about hash. That's interpreting the lyrics,a nd the music itself should be open to the equivalent interpretation.
  8. One of the owners of the Sushi place in the Market bought a coat from me a couple of weeks ago. He seemed nice enough if a bit exciteable.
  9. ha., I'll buy one soon I reckon. I just need my dad to help pay for my uni dissertationproject. DON'T DO GEOLOGY AT ABERDEEN UNI UNLESS YOU ARE RICH
  10. This guy got it from RnB i think. Another amte said he'd swap his £350 acoustic for this £120 one, so I'm seriously tempted. I hate the idea of internet shopping when drunk tho, my willpower is gone.
  11. Well, a friend of a friend had some kind of washburn and it was really nice, just a perfect sound, y'know? He said it was cheap, like £120, and this one is £109 on GAK.co.uk, but it looks well made, with the neck binding and all, suggesting a good deal.
  12. What do people reckon to them? The D-10S gets good reviews, apparently. the best guitar under $500 (approx 300?) I want a new acoustic cos the one I have is 'orrible.
  13. Yeah, but you'll dro it eventually. My MiniDisk and Tape player Walkmen have both been dropped a fw times over the course of their lives, but work fine still. Would the same be true of your aveage MP3? I dunno? Also, why do you get people (you knowm thsoe Apple Nerds) bangin on about how good i-pods look? I mean, it's in your pocket most of the time. If the battery lasted as long as my MiniDisk player does, I'd consider it, but if I'm on a 15 hour bus trip, I want more than 14 hours of battery life.
  14. Why do MP3 players have this reputation for breaking? No one has ever told me of one that hasn't gone wrong in some way or another. Would people say it is worth waiting a few more years before getting one, when someone decides that having space for 30Gb of songs, but a battery life of 14 hours, is a bit rubbish, and they should intead concentrate on making them more dureable? For the money, £200 region, i'd want something that lasted several years no problem. My MiniDisk player is 5 years old, and has never had a problem, and I only changed from a tape Walkman becasue my new stereo didn't have a tape deck. I'm not not a technophobe, or crap like that, just you hear of so many people where they just stop working, and shit.
  15. The postes on the bus stops annoy me, for soem reason. I think it's that S7evin thing. Why?
  16. Anyway, I play guitar, not for ages, only about 3 years or so, but I'd really like to, if not start a band, pre s, but rather get someone else to play with. Another guitar player, or something else maybe, someone at a similar level to me. Slash need not apply. Basically I think you can only learn so much by yourself, and it's more fun playing with another person. Hopefully. If that other person can sing at all, that would be a bonus, cos I can't:laughing: . Not bothered about what syle of stuff we'd play, just see what happens. If it's any good I'd be looking to start a band or semething too. It's nothing mega serious, you know, meeting up a couple of times a week, with instuments and beer/wine, kinda thing. Probably not for the wannabe next big thing like, more of a bot of a laugh. I'm 22, live in Aberdeen, and am a boy. And a student. PM me or e-mail me at u37cb2@hotmail.co.uk Cheers.
  17. Do you want them so you can burn them? Cos that's the only reason i can think off. Unless you own a rifle.
  18. Have you tried turning it off and on again?
  19. "SICK FUCKING BITCH I HOPE THEY EXECUTE YOUR ASS" ha ha! Gotta love americans!
