  2. The 2 bands I'm in, Bitumen River and Beast Head are playing in the Moorings on Saturday night, are Element 106 playing as well?
  3. members of Bitumen River and new Shetland band Ten Tonne Dozer are going to be in aberdeen on sunday the 12th of feb on our way home from a gig in Glasgow, just wondering if the Jam session still happens?, It was on one sunday night this time last year, we're keen to give it a go! Cheers Kevin

  7. Cool!, Was that the Urinal Cubes?, Are you from Mossbank? That would have been before my time, the only full time member remaining is Andrew, the guitar player, Dave Kok the previous singer is now our manager and comes up to sing a few songs at our gigs. Coming to the Moorings then?
  8. Shetland band Bitumen River will be appearing at the Moorings again on Friday the 15th of April, it will be an early show, starting from 8pm. This follows the band's successful show with The Unforgiven, The Grease Monkeys and The Juvenile Delinquents on the 29th January 2005. for more info on Bitumen River visit their website
  9. Hello everyone. I've finally made it back to Shetland after a serious sunday session in aberdeen. If anybody has any opinions of our band it would be really interesting to hear them (whether it be good or bad!) Thanks to everyone who made this weekend happen, it has been amazing!   10. Hi everyone. cheers to all the other bands we shared the stage with. We had an amazing weekend. I especially enjoyed the acoustic sets. we'll be back in April for more gigs. probably at the Moorings Bar as it is an excellent pub with an amazing athmosphere and soundsystem. The best local band were Tears of Grace I would say.
  11. I'm really looking forward to it as well!. we are on the ferry tommorow night. How many people do you think will be at drummonds? Bitumen River and The Juvenile Delinquents are playing in The Moorings bar on saturday with The Grease Monkeys from Glasgow and The Unforgiven so if you like what you hear on friday then come along on for a second helping!   14. I must emphasise MOST of the local bands. Well actually its getting a lot better, there's only a couple of crap cover bands on the go at the moment. The band I'm in (Bitumen River) are playing at Cafe Drummonds on the 28th of January, you should all come along!. cheers Kevin
