Wharfedale powered speakers - 200W amp and 2 mic/line inputs in each speaker - good for singer songwriters or acoustic gigs or rehearsals. Bought them for 350 had them about 6 years so will sell for 100 ono. The Chilli peppers recorded Californication with an SM58 on the vocals. So it can be done for studio work... Depends what sound you want. If you are looking for the really detailed sound, as if the person is right there in the room when you put on the track you need a large diaphram condenser - bit more money - although AKG C2000, C3000's are good and not too much. Rode NT1's and NT2's or whatever the newer modules are called are good - but avoid AKG C1000's - they're thin, too bright and shit for vocals. i'd rather use an sm58....

I saw regina spektor there just recently and it ws amazing, although cause its all standing and the stage is not that high, it was pretty impossible to see her as she was sat at a keyboard. Also the guy with the biggest hair in the world was down the front, wavering in front of her.... but live and let live. Plus the music was too good to really care. Thumbs up for the venue.

Hey thanks for the comments guys - I'm glad you like the music I put on the site.. I will hopefully post some different tracks as i get more stuff recorded over the next month or so. I totally agree with shaz!! I'm sick and tired of people putting down fudge! I mean everyone is entitled to there opinion, BUT there is a big difference between constructive criticism and just down right bitching guys!!
