  1. It is the best way to make sure horrible bastards aren't looking after cats, especially ones that have previously been mistreated.
  2. A black belt with blue jeans is always a terrible idea.

  5. The limiter has been disconnected, but I would say that is pretty much the only difference.
  6. Savage Mansion (ep release show) https://soundcloud.com/savagemansion Effervescent power-pop from Glasgow. Forthcoming debut e.p. "Everyone To The Savage Mansion" showcases four smartly written, streamlined tracks that demonstrate a predilection towards unabashed guitar leads, intricate bass-work and huge choruses. The project is the brainchild of Craig Angus, formerly of dearly departed Poor Things. Live and on record, SM features plentiful contributions from a cast of collaborators from Glasgow's thriving music scene (specifically members of Catholic Action and Rapid Tan). You'd def be intae it if you like BIG STAR, RICHMAN/MODERN LOVERS, GUIDED BY VOICES, TEENAGE FANCLUB, MIKAL CRONIN Min Diesel (https://mindiesel.bandcamp.com/) and BIRD LAW (formerly Das McManus, https://dasmcmanus.bandcamp.com/) will be playing also. plscomeitllbeaffafine. 7. I do wonder about a foreign manager for England, as the current home grown choices seem like they would be panic filling and wouldn't last a qualifying campaign. Celtic are going to crush* Man City tonight, that's my footballing prediction for today. *crush = host Man City at Parkhead.
  8. There is a new album from Russian Circles. It sounds beefy and I like it.
  9. Jo really captured Desmond's cold, black eyes and jammy grin.
  10. I am getting increasingly annoyed at the news coverage of the Great British Bake Off contract changes. At the end of the day, it's Tory shite that I try to ignore, but it is 6Music's top story right now and the Evening Express are covering it in their local section(??)! Assed with watching shows where people make cakes for a man too fat for a goatee and a geriatric woman that has an onion for a head.
  11. I love how deluded Joey Barton is and I wonder what the bust up with Andy Halliday was about. Barton was hardly a shining light when Celtic gubbed Sevco, he looked like a wee boy on the pitch, so I can't see how he could be laying into his team mates. I think it's amazing that he phoned Talksport and gave out an apology that basically was not an apology.
  12. Okkervil River have a new album out. It is good, so gets the Mountain Wizards seal of approval. I am looking forward to hearing the new Joan as Policewoman album as well, since she has went for a more straightforward pop sound.
  13. Honorable mention to Pitbull and Ke$ha.
  14. Sabbath have had about 19 farewell tours, fuck that.
  15. Playing "The Vulture Lounge" this Saturday. I'll be interested to see what is the same and what changes the new owners have made.
