  1. There are Amazon lockers in Aberdeen, sure that there are ones at Morrisons on King Street for example.
  2. Charity night in aid of Fife Hospitals Kidney support group. More importantly , in memory of Gav's sister who tragically died of complications after kidney failure earlier this year. Very pleased to announce Headless Kross as our first act. https://www.facebook.com/headlesskross Tildewww.facebook.com/tildedrone Doom Drone from Stirling.Heavy as hell Dirty Trickww.facebook.com/DirtyTrickband. 3. I don't think it has been that good at all. When the tiger appeared, I actually laughed. Ridiculous!
  4. Immigration has fuck all to do with the failing NHS, the Tories are running it into the ground so they can sell it off. Can you give me a real life example of yourself being affected negatively by an immigrant using the NHS, having access to free schooling, claiming benefits or working in a job and not speaking English? Anything that caused a problem to you as a direct result. It is pretty easy to blame immigrants or other people without a voice, when it is the corporate elite acting in their own interests destroying this countries services. Clinton wasn't the only candidate with a chance, Bernie Sanders would have beaten Trump.
  5. Picked up this at the weekend. Sold my Squier Jaguar to fund it and I couldn't be happier. I'll simplify the switching system, but for now that is all it needs.
  6. This is on Saturday! Remember to book your place on the Facebook page, the link is in the original post. A couple of preview tracks are now online! https://birdlawpunx.bandcamp.com/releases
  7. I think is really going to have an adverse knock on effect in mainstream western politics. With the large number of career politicians that will go with whatever way the wind is blowing, I think that the success of Trump (and UKIP) will see shifts towards the nastier side of right wing politics. I think this is being evidenced by the current attitudes of the Tories. God help us all.
  8. I am hoping that the Islamophobic, racist, misogynist rapist gets impeached as soon as possible.
  9. Got a pop shield, which has been a great investment. Used it for this demos, what do you think?
  10. https://birdlawpunx.bandcamp.com/releases You can hear two tracks right now, before the release on the 13th November. Book your place at the release show here - https://www.facebook.com/events/779383595534760/ It is this Saturday night at Musical Vision. We have Benjamin Blue and Slowlight also playing.
  11. £900 seems very expensive! Anyone know what the UK equivalent is?
  12. I think it is unfair to suggest the Fight Like Apes are blaming streaming, they are blaming the lack of revenue from streaming. Therefore the end user of the product is not at fault, more the arsehole corporations that choose to keep all the profits for themselves. Fuck the record companies, parasitic cunts.
  13. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-37857785 The mad racists won't be happy. Although, they never are.
  14. Might want to include a start time and price on the door!
  15. https://www.facebook.com/posableactionfigures/ - For fans of Queens of the Stone Age, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Jackson 5, The Ink Spots,.. https://www.facebook.com/seasstarry/?fref=ts - For fans of songs with vocals, songs without vocals, fuzz, noise, tunes. Doors are 8:30 pm and it is £5.00 entry. Lovely stuff.
  16. In short, daft cunt fans are daft cunts? I would completely agree with that.
  17. Any sensible Celtic fan should do that, I think that is exemplified by the frustration felt by fans towards Ronny Deila at the end of his managerial reign.
  18. I am not sure what Aberdeen fans are expecting from Celtic, a wage budget 639% higher than Aberdeen's doesn't mean that players, staff, performances should be 639% better. The is not a linear correlation between the two, else you could look at the English premiership and the team that spends the most on players will win most of the competitions. What it will mean is that for the foreseeable future Celtic will win the majority of domestic competitions. It is pretty easy to acknowledge that Celtic have huge resources and that is because the club has reportedly over 9 million supporters worldwide, a crazy figure.
  19. Laika Come Home and Happiness Is Time Spent With Good Friends present: DEPECHE CHOAD/BIRD LAW: "GREETINGS FROM ASHLEY PARK, ABZ" EP LAUNCH SHOW: DEPECHE CHOAD: Spearfish, South Dakota's very own pioneers of girth-rock. Choad Kroeger, Nob Geldof, Tommy Gunnar and Dream Magic assault audiences with "trivial" and "somewhat punk" music in their continuing quest to repel listeners and induce painful allergic reactions. They're actually really good, though. FFO: Butthole Surfers, Ween, Skelton's wack raps and cat hatred https://depeche-choad.bandcamp.com/ https://www.facebook.com/D3P3CH3CH04D/ BIRD LAW: Not governed by reason since 2016; Free, House, Jackie and Emic play often political, always melodic, fast and fuzzy powerpop jams. FFO: Superchunk, Lemonheads, dumb riffs, shoehorning sitcom references into absolutely everything https://soundcloud.com/user-297900511 https://www.facebook.com/birdlawpunx/ We are totally delighted to be joined by very special guests: SLOWLIGHT: Mighty fine angular post hardcore from Glasgow. Slowlight draw influences from late 90's early 00's emo and hardcore and create something more unique, using a smart combination of vocals to create melodic and memorable punk songs that are equal parts intricate and anthemic. Debut album was recorded at Glassworks back in July, and should be due out soon (Yes? I hope so!) FFO: Tiger's Jaw, Burning Airlines,Hoover https://slowlightglasgow.bandcamp.com/album/ep https://www.facebook.com/slowlightmusic/ BENJAMIN BLUE: The last time I recall there being such a massively winning combination of North and South was when those guys from popular 90's CBBC series, No Sweat, released "I'm a Man, Not a Boy". With members from both Aberdeen and Glasgow, Benjamin Blue create staggeringly good jangly math-rock with a hell of a lot of heart and guts. Currently on tour with Crywank, and with new EP just released on Struggletown Records, Benjamin Blue are definitely ones to watch. FFO: Autoclave, Maps & Atlases, Todd Flanders https://www.facebook.com/benjaminblueband/?fref=ts https://benjaminblue.bandcamp.com/album/benjamin-blue-ep THE T&C STUFF: This gig is at Musical Vision, so there is a strict limit on capacity. If you'd like to attend, please indicate on the Facebook page and we'll add you to the guestlist. Doors will be at 8, let us know if you plan to arrive later than 9, to avoid your space being given to someone else. The venue isn't licensed, so please BYOB. Please respect the space and others, we don't want to ask anyone to leave, but we will if we have to. SAT 12TH NOVEMBER// MUSICAL VISION// DOORS 8PM// £5 ENTRY // VEGAN CAKE // TIMES ON EARTH
