  1. Well, that's my ticket bought for next year.
  2. I always thought of them as Post-Rock when I started listening to them. The new CD, however, is prog-rock and verges on easy-listening.
  3. Jesus. What have we done to deserve this?

  8. Bah! I posted this on Friday about Caninus & Hatebeak and got ZERO replies to my thread! Hatbeak RAWK!!!
  9. I think I'll sample my goldfish & record something. Check this out - With mainstream metal becoming more and more corporate, where can a real metal fan turn? Try Pet Metal. Hatebeak is an extreme metal act with ear-crushing guitars and head-pounding drums. The difference is the "singer" is a parrot called Waldo. Sadly, Hatebeak won't be playing Ozzfest next year: Waldo is scared of loud noises. He even has to record his vocals separately from the rest of the band. But you can look forward to his duet with death metallers Caninus, whose singer is a pitbull. listen to Caninus http://www.pitbullgrindcore.com/download/caninus-locking_jaws.mp3 Listen to Hatebeak http://www.reptilianrecords.com/reptilian/sounds_content.html
  10. Heh! Good interview. I'm going to make sure I'm at the Barras early enough to see them that night.
  11. well, by tour I mean Glasgow and London.... Anyway, support act is Decaer Pinga If you want to hear a track by them you can listen to track 2 off of their "Green Concussion" CD-R here - http://www.usoundarchive.com/v05.html The band's webpage is here - http://www.pinktoes.net/decaer_pinga.htm Enjoy (although most of you will hate them....)
  12. It's ok - got my ticket. I'm a happy person, now!!
  13. Black Metal.... Death Metal...... I really need to learn more about the sub-genres, micro-genres and even the pseudo-genres of the Metal scene.....
  14. You never struck me as a secret Metaller, Dave! The album covers are class though - although my digipack CD of "Arise" has Igor, Max and Andreas signatures on silver pen on it. Well, when I say "signatures", I mean they scrwled their firstnames on it.
  15. I haven't heard them in ages. Used to like them in my Metal Years (in the time before Nirvana) and saw them twice at the Barrowlands. I see they're supporting Motorhead on their November tour.
  16. And the ticket is..... SOLD to the first bidder.
