  1. It was fucking deid, but both bands were ace.

That's a bit disappointing. About the attendance I mean obviously. I only realised I was supposed to be in Edinburgh tonight seeing them about a couple of hours ago. I need more sleep.

They're supporting Gallows if you fancy a second chance Aberdeen. ;)

  2. I didn't go last night, and was hoping to hear some feedback on 'art brut'.

My girlfriend has ket me hear them before, and i have to say they were one of the worst things i';ve ever ehad...not music just random talentless noise, talking, and yelping like a jack russel 'we formed a band' indeed. I was of the opinion they were signed BECAUSE they are shit (pretentious arty kids think they are cool - sell records) but having read some reviews in this thread perhaps i'm wrong?! can anyone recomend something of theirs for me to listen to that may change my mind?

I can't. I did once get mistaken for someone in said band at Reading Festival and bought a drink and made to pose for photos despite proclaiming that Art Brut are shite and that sort of thing. I guess they just thought it was part of my 'indie cool'.

  3. Fav bands 10 years ago and before i had a new fav every 10 secs and music look over my life:

*Sunny Day Real Estate / Fire Theft / Jeremy Enigk

    Bob Dylan

    *Rage Against The Machine

    *Pearl Jam

    Smashing Pumpkins

    The Prodigy

    REM

    Alice In Chains

    Therapy

    The Wildhearts

*Artists i was once fanatical about

I now understand fully what you're on about :)

Someone was asking where you were on Wednesday by the way. Lasting impact of a metal naysayer ;)

Hope you're doing good man :)

  4. Yeah..well...he talks over cheesy early 90's ballad music :D I can't find it anywhere, but I'll keep looking. The other obscure fact is that the song was written originally for David Hasselhoff, which makes it doubly great, mwahaha...and it was produced by Simon Cowell, or at least Cowell had some sort of involvement, which makes it trebly great. :D

YTMND - Bret Hart : Never Been A Right Time To Say Goodbye < go here and enjoy ;)

And IRS should have been Intercontinental champ at some point :(

I knew before I read it that it was 'Never Been A Right Time To Say Goodbye'! My brother Euan bought all that shit on tape as soon as it came out!

    The album's awesome :)
