i think the band name is ok but you should be aiming higher than ok. artwork is good. if you want to be a "scene" band, pick a name that fits in with the scene. if you don't want to be constrained by a "scene", try and pick something truly original. not easy of course. clickee here clickee here too and here ... The last one suggested the quite fantastic Cuntage Rotten-cat Food .

i think she may well be getting frisky to get a name for herself. i think the last thing she wants is to be forgotten so being remembered as the munter from big brother is better than nothing. i didn't think it would be possible to dislike anyone as much as i disliked lesley but maxwell is turning into such an arse. would love maxwell to get voted out just to see the look on his face. then saskia can suffer in the house for the next week or two. woo !

indeed. in retrospect, might have been an idea to post if anyone else was going. met a nice girl from aberdeen at 8am on saturday morning. predictably, can't remember a thing about her. i see there's another festival happening up near inverness in august. :-)

i went along and had a great time despite the weather and the quagmire/campsite. handily, my gf fainted and was carried out on a stretcher just before idlewild came on so i spent their set sitting in the first aid place. a bit pissed off that you weren't allowed glass bottles on the campsite or your own alcohol onto the actual festival site. funnily enough, the organisers seemed surprised when there was a massive queue at the bar.

there are a few people that i know who have dedicated their life to trying to make it big. jacked in their jobs, moved to london, etc and they are still chasing the dream. depends on whether you want to be a web designer for the rest of your life ? you could think about doing something else in the business - producing, setting up a label ?

it sounds like you need to take a break and see if your enthusiasm comes back. whatever you do, don't stop because you feel you have to. the regret will consume you until you are a merely a shell of a man. or something.

so what kind of stuff are you guys playing there then ? :-)

There are a few P/T jobs over at granitecity.org for cleaners, delivery drivers and leaflet distributors. Not everyone's cup of tea I know but you never know. :-)

you're only passed it when you can't devote enough time and energy to give it your best shot. as you get older, all kinds of shit starts to take over your life and before you know it - you don't have the time. if you're still 100% into it - go for it. 23 is fuck all.

whilst there are undoubtedly quite a few decent songs on the list (which makes a nice change for these types of things), putting music from about a dozen different genres under the banner of "punk" is taking the piss. most of it would make a pretty decent playlist actually ...
