yeh i know, its kinda annoying. I liked this piece too. i don't see why people are so harsh to each other on these forums ( not naming anyone or accusing anyone ) i think it is utterly fantastic that we have a thick striving eclectic music scene in this little northern city of ours

as i said before i like this, but i do just generally like most things which actually make me stop and listen which is exactly what this track does, one thing which "sky" picked up on are pople who believe that there music taste is the becnhmark to measure all music by, i mean of course you are going to think that your own musical taste is the best because it is yours, but some people have to understand other people enjoy different things and not to slate something simply because it does not appeal to your musical taste, however good u think it is. I have this debate with my friend struan a lot of the time that could our own taste in music actually be shit? i mean i hate the killers for example yet so many people love them ( go to exodus any indie night and and youll see what i mean ), which in turn would show that i am in the minority, and maybe i need to step back and question my own taste in music before imposing it on other people? or maybe not

come on now neil, get your big wooden mixing spoon out of this forum, to be honest i think you are being a bit patronizing, i know rory ( sultanofswing ) has been into hillage/spacerock for a long time now and is probably one of his biggest influences and he is a bloody amazing guitarist, so for you to go saying that that particular genre of music is lacking in something is a tad *patronizing*

hey man, that is an absolute tradgedy, i was in jinx, and me and another band mate pete were down in the stairwell for a bit after your set and we too saw the two guys twobackjoe mentioned going back and forth up the stairs, i was standing at the window and looked out and saw them all standing outside at the bottom of the stairwell, didn't think anything of it but thinking about it they could have easily swiped your guitar as they wern't in any band so had no reason to be going up and down the stairwell!! the barmaid then came down saying she was going to close the door downstairs and was there anyone outside and i looked again and they were gone. Absolute bastards if they stole it, i too have an american fender telecaster which we were playing and i would be absolutely gutted if any little shit stole it, so sorry man, let me know if you need any more info on the guys we saw best of luck

yes it is actually just " jinx ", but we're quite used to having a "the" put in front of it, and we have even been called " the jinks".

I have to say i really do like the look of Fender Jaguars, theres something quirky about them. I would love to own one ,http://www.gakkido.jp/online-shop-gakki-pic2/fender-62-jaguar-used-1.jpg although i do own a gorgeous USA fender telecaster which is quite splendiferous in both appearance and sound

woo, hoping to see a few people at the gig tonight, i've never seen vandelays before. JInx will be playing some new material which we have been working on for say...the past couple of days so it should be great. hopefully be a cool gig, be there or be a quadrangle!
