  1. Rumble Fish. Bloody ruddy brilliant!
  2. Handsome Furs - Face Control Doesn't seem to quite live up to Plague Park but its not bad. Probably a grower.
  3. This "woman" puts you all to shame: YouTube - Pat Mullins - We Can Be Heroes God bless Chris Lilley.
  4. Is it just me or does this read like a Christopher Walken monologue?
  5. If it makes you feel any better, while I was living in London a couple of summers ago I was standing at a crossing minding my own business when all of a sudden someone threw a rock out of their passenger window which hit me square in the face. I was then greeted with "Fuck off Jamie Oliver!". For the record I look nothing like Jamie Oliver. On a side note, TelecasterSam's overuse of the full stop is starting to grate a little.
  6. Not to be a story topper but I once got a bus from Aberdeen to Salzburg which lasted 36 hours, it was alright though because we had a copy of Topgun on the bus. I also came back the same way so I spent approximately 72 hours sitting on a bus. Then again it did only cost about 30 pounds.
  7. Um...not for me, I echo the predictable Indie sentiments and maybe it's just the poor recording but the vocals really grate but hey maybe you would be better live. Good luck with the gig though.
  8. Since when have you had a next gen console Neily boy? On a side note neillyneildown...? Really? Is that the best you could come up with, what about Nashman or presuming that is already taken, Neily pudding, or maybe even 3_square_neils? Frankly I'm a bit disappointed at your lack of imagination.
  9. My top must see cities would include Gothenburg, Brussels, Berlin, Salzberg. Incidentally that would make a pretty good backpacking trail, and you can get ryanair flights to Gothenburg for silly money.
  10. I don't want to cause too much of a stir, but I did once have the pleasure of sitting next to Kevin from the Eggheads while watching Avenue Q in London. He was sitting by himself and must have eaten about 7 bags of maltesers.
  11. I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned but I watched "Into The Wild", the other day. It really is a fantastic film. Emile Hirsch is amazing as Alexander Supertramp (Chris) as well as all the supporting actors, notably Vince Vaughn and Catherine Keener. Sean Penn and Emile Hirsch seem to make a fearsome team so I am eagerly awaiting "Milk" now.
  12. I'll be setting off in a week to the Philippines for a few weeks. We plan on backpacking our way North and spending a few nights on the surrounding small Islands. I'm hoping to stumble upon a secluded beach with an already existing community of people whereby I will fall in love with a French Girl but then slowly lose my mind accompanied by my dead friend Daffy, largely due to the consumption of narcotics, resulting in the eventual demise of the community. Oh wait no that's Thailand. Maybe I'll just go Scuba Diving.
  13. Holy moly, this drives me up the wall. Similarly anyone who uses the word "tricks" e.g "How's tricks?" I tend to walk away from the conversation at that point, leaving the person who asked me to rethink their vocabulary and indeed life choices.
  14. Absolutely, Tom and Pete did all us ex-Jinxians proud, well all two of us. The crowd was rather thin around the edges but the people that were there seemed highly appreciative of the music that was on display. Oh and the Present wern't half bad either Another great show IMP, keep up the good work!
  15. Yeah it wasn't ripped so much as a homage to Badlands, I have to say though that I do prefer Zimmers piece, It ticks along at a nicer pace, both however are amazing film scores.
  16. Phillip Glass anyone? Special mention must also go to the late great Carl Orff.
  17. dedalus were fantastic last night, they blew me away with there new songs. Neptune were an awesome spectacle. i kinda switched off duringpro forma but i think a lot of people did unfortunately for them. Hookers were also outstanding, twas a great night
