  1. I'm going. I don't have a car though.
  2. Can't wait to see them. Hope they don't cancel.
  3. Hallowe'en good, Sunday night bad.
  4. I was there too. Both bands mentioned played awful sets. But I saw Sonic Youth later at Glastonbury, and they were much better.
  5. Together, Lou and Harold are comedy gods. Remember when Lou went out with Annalise?! Remember when Lucy (?) got kidnapped and tied to a chair wearing a wedding dress by some psycho? Lou and Brad went to rescue her, Brad flexed his muscles and followed everything Lou said with 'yeah'. Remember when Julie's kids and stepkids made her think she was mad and she threw herself off the top of a tower? Ah, golden days.
  6. I see what you mean, but the word 'lean' makes me think that its going to be pretty efficient in terms of its impact without all the ornamentation. What I'm trying to say is that while Limp Bizkit would shout about their reasons for hitting you (probably that daddy never hugged them or something), then postulate about how many times they may in fact hit you, then stop for a photo shoot of the threatening, then ask you to stand still, and then scream that actually they're not going to hit because they're far too big to have to, and then shout and grimace a bit more for good measure before reminding you that actually daddy didnt love them, and then finally leave in 4 angry white limos, NIN will simply walk up to you and hit you with 12 hard punches in quick succession before leaving.
  7. It used to be good but now it is rubbish. The end.
  8. Just got this earlier today....it's already becoming a favourite!
  9. I Will Never Buy A Best Compilation Album With The Word Ever In It....Ever!
  10. I agree, it's definitely not as good as her previous stuff, but still a decent album. 'But Julian...' is my favourite so far.
  11. That was a good gig. Very cosy.
  12. Yes, but can you name a more 'life-affirming female' who has reached the same level of commercial success as Love? Part of Love's appeal as an anti-misogynist 'musician' (even I admit she may not be the most technically-able of singers/players) is that she has equalled and in many cases outstripped the success of her male peers in the business.
  13. Anything by Papa Roach. .....do they even exist anymore?
