Hi guys, I'm posting on behalf of my uni group who are putting on a Live Music event at the RGU Union as part of our course. Laid Back & Live 13th April 2013. I've posted it to the event calendar for more details but it's not showing there yet. We have a headline act from Glasgow, Stephanie Manns, with support from local acts Leanne Smith and Jamie Reid. As it's a uni event we are working to a really tight budget and are struggling to source all the equipment we need. I'm looking to see if any of you lovely aberdeen-music folks have or know of anyone that could lend (or hire for really really cheap) some basic lights to light up a small stage?? Everywhere we have contacted so far have been miles out of budget. PM or post here if you can help

Hi, OK I know this might be a long shot but you never know... I have 2 x standing tickets to Foo Fighters at Wembley for Sat 7th June. I also have 2 x coach tickets from Manchester to Wembley for the gig. (don't ask, it seemed like a good idea when I booked them months ago!) I have recently discovered I have to get on the coach in order to get the gig tickets which is proving to be a problem. I am looking for a swap if anyone's interested in the coach ticket package for just the gig tickets. I'm happy to do a straight swap, no aditional cost for getting the coach tickets. I thought our female version of the Village people last year was rather good. But I managed to transform my brother into a rubix cube (also last year) It was brilliant but not that practical for dancing / drinking / toilet stops! I shall be sporting a school girl outfit this year. Not really related to halloween but never mind.
