Its the "cuts" last gig on saturday at the lemontree. There has been a lot of conflict in the band for a long time and were left with no other solution except to break up . For our gig on Saturday there is gonna be james from deadloss superstar and radio lucifer playing lead guitar...AHHHHH YEAHHHHH!! he rocks!! then "cuts" will be reformed with the same line up except for a different lead guitarist! I would like to ask that if anyone would like to try out for lead guitar then to give me or anyone else from the band a pm, see us saturday OR alternatively just track us down in moshulu (never outta that place...!) anyway hope to see everyone out on saturday xxxxx

my personal opinion on this thread is that of indifference! yeah i have agreed with most people on the bands that they have described as the "worst" bands in aberdeen, but after reading post after post it became more apparent to me that some people could not take criticism and that what they believed to be as criticism or areas where they could improve was suddenly insulting they're artistic intergrity! Aberdeen has an amazing band scene, there are loadsa bands that are all trying to do what they want to do musically and are being able to express themselves in many ways. What i really dont have time for and i dont think many folk really do is the amount of egos that exist within the aberdeen music scene and they aint even proper egos cuz no one in aberdeen has mounted to much recently...i have a feeling bands will in the future but it just really bugs the shit outta me when bands are like "mannnnnnn!!! we are soooo cool i can only speak to my 2 fans" etc...its quite funny! i have noticed that i have gone on a wee rant but well aberdeen is good and this thread is quite negative BUT everyone is entitled to an opinion and those bands who have been described as one of the "worst" according to popular opinion...allegedly should perhaps learn from what people are saying and try to improve OR alternatively ignore it and follow what makes them feel ace! but seriously fuck all these cat fights about whose saying what or whatever,its a waste of fucking time! do what you do and enjoy it and who really cares what people really think???i dont really know what else to say and i have already posted WAYYY more than i initially was gonna do but well what the hell....

I think aberdeen is very lucky because its hard to find bad singers..i think so anyway...on the whole i dunno i think my favourite singers are steven dedalus, steve turning 13, the dude from eric euan ...amazing vocals..sharon lindsay,her screams...they are fucking ace,al masamune for the tormented sound that comes out of his mouth..very unnerving. There are heaps more i could write down..oh yeah simon gall, i really love his vocal range and his lyrics are also very nice too. As i was writing there is loads of very good vocalists in aberdeen and i do think the thread would have been easier to name names if it was titled the worst singers in aberdeen. I think aberdeen is very lucky because we have such a diverse music scene and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger, i know i will prolly go back to this thread and be like oh wait..so and so..gotta add them, all i can think of just now though.

heres my favourite aberdeen bands...not in any order,but nevertheless these bands all kickass equally in ma opinion anywho... politik masamune hookersgreen No.1 dedalus electric tibet eric euan king liar and the brutes nero real shocks the needles..not quite local now and if i can have the needles can i maybe have josephine too..cuz they are really cool,one of my favourite bands!
