  1. I have just returned from the cinema where i went to see the new Woody Allen film Match Point. I am usually a big fan of his and so was my friend. We decided that out of 10 we would give it a 6. That was only because of the beautiful cast of Johnathan Rhys Meyers (for me) and Scarlette Johannisson(for him....sorry for the bad spelling) anyway, it was not a completely terrible film and it did have some good themes in it...i was just wondering if anyone else had seen it yet and what they thought of it. Should Woody Allen retire for good or was it just one ok film out of his catalogue of ace films?

  4. for the record to get it straight!once and for all for anyone who actually gives a fuck! les has been out the band for a while and we now have a whole new set list...i wrote the silence of you (without the keys) and played it about a year ago at my acoustic set..now i refuse to get into disputes about who wrote what because in my opinon it is a waste of time...however,what i will say is what cuts are recording very soon all our new songs..over the past 5 months i have written lots of songs and we cant wait to record them....cheers for the feed back guys...so our new stuff will be out i would say in the next couple of months...the songs that les predominantely wrote are no longer in use and there is no question of copyright and i dont really know why ollie said that, but he was just stating his thoughts i suposse.

  7. does anyone fancy coming along to a "cuts" practise and playing some keyboard? it would be ace if someone actually replied to this cuz we have looked with not much luck...i just think our music may sound better with a keyboard beefing up our sound a little!hee hee...

    hope someone can help us....

    cheersx

  8. my saddest piece of clothing is a creamy orange looking holey cardigan that comes down to just the top of the ribcage..its supossed to be there ( so i was told) but i hate wearing it out because it looks very very very very nasty...orange just aint a good colour...yucky! its retro gone wrong...my gran wouldnt even wear it!

  9. pretty on the inside-hole

    blue-joni mitchell

    dry-pj harvey

    boy-u2

van morrisson...my folks have all his stuff

    and neil young..

this was the music i heard when i was a kiddywink...big sister liked hole and pj...and that has rubbed off onto me! wish i was still a kid...seriously wouldnt be as much shit that we adults have to put up with! heee hee

  10. well i was not technically making a judgement...mannnnnnnnn hee hee! i am still gonna check ya out! however, it will be hard for you guys getting away from that "tag" because lady mercedes were on the go for a while and working with 2 guys from the band it does lead to speculation that they must be writing music and if they are writing music then surely maybe it would sound like their former band lady mercedes! as i said before i shall pass judgement when i see you guys...see if you guys are a "rock n roll " experience....

  11. FLicker have got a gig on wednesday at the Tunnels...i know i will be there! does anyone have an opinion on the tunnel is it a good place for bands to play? i havent been yet so would like to know what all the dudes think of it! is it true that its also a record shop and does anyone know how cheap or expensive the drinks are?

    cheersx

  12. I think for me it is quite hard as in which night club is the better. I used to go to moshulu all the time and then got bored cuz i was there all the time..then i went to exodus quite a lot and i got bored of exodus because it is so small...I think in terms of music i like exodus a bit better on a tuesday or wednesday whichever night has stuff from the 80's but on the other hand i am also quite a big fan of friday nights in the backroom! i just think there should be more clubs in aberdeen, there are far too many clubs in aberdeen that dont do anything other than music that i dont really like so really having moshulu or exodus and even o'neils is pretty cool....but there should be more...

  13. hey valley69 is oliver! my name is foetusgrrl...ehm if anyone is interested i thought the band name was "cuts" just everyone seems to think it sounds better with "The" infront of it..im indifferent to whether we get called cuts or the cuts...but anyway i hope loadsa folk come down cuz the rezillos rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hope to see y'all therexxxxxxxxx :band:

  14. cheers guys we are gonna change our name cuz hmmm none of us really like "cuts" anyway,so change of name...yeah it was the guitarist that was giving us the problems but well better to not have that person in the band than to try and survive with tensions in the band...hmmm my point wasnt very well made there..but cheers guys for the nice words...
