  1. I have been told that this happend with Winston Churchill and his secretary. Her "Sir you are drunk" Him "I may be drunk, but you are ugly. The difference is in the morning I will be sober, but you will still be ugly"
  2. I thought smack the pony was quite funny too. I would also have to add only fools and horses. It is gash
  3. Max and Paddys thingamy whotsit, it is utter rubbish. As is 2 pints of Lager and a packet of Crisps
  4. 03/05/05 Leeds, Cockpit 03/06/05 Sheffield, Corporation 03/07/05 Glasgow, Garage 03/08/05 Newcastle, Northumbria Uni 03/09/05 Manchester, University MDH 03/10/05 Dublin, Wheelan's 03/11/05 Cork, Nancy Spain's 03/13/05 London, Mean Fiddler 03/14/05 Oxford, Zodiac 03/15/05 Portsmouth, Wedgewood Rooms Should be a good one. I thought hatebreed were the awesome at slipknot/slayer and have been a huge fan of Crowbar for a while. I only have there older stuff though. Is there new stuff good?
  5. Should be a good laugh. I missed them last time.
  6. I have been invited to a patry but it has to be moshulu for me
  7. I havnt really been to many this year but out of the few I have been to capdown last night were by far the best.
  8. Yes they were, loud to the point of stoping the enjoyment possibly. IMO it gets to a point where it is that loud you cant really hear the music, just a wall of noise. What with the beastie boys the night before and capdown last night I cant hear a thing. Lectures have been a pain in the ass today To tell the truth I thought the whole night was a bit of a let down. Not really my sort of music and the singer from Alexisonfire was a dick. I ont think it is the aberdeen crowd though. They were out in force for capdown last night. Possibly just the trend for emo/screamo dying away? I cant say that would be a bad thing (Not trying to offend any emo fans here. I know it is a touchy subject, its just my opinion.) On the plus I met a couple of cool people, its always good to make new friends
  9. It certainly was good. I didnt thing twofold were all that good, but each to there own, The 44's were good but I only saw the last 2 songs of theirs. It was very early doors wasn't it? Capdown were awesome. Loads of people dancing. Not gig of the year for me, that would be sick of it all 2 weeks ago but still mighty good
  10. Personaly I would rather be in Moshulu but the times I have gone there it has been dead the people I have been there with have decided to go to exodus instead. I will try it again at some point when I have time to go out on a monday
  11. I am frothing at the mouth with rage. I will be doing exams at the time
  12. Sweet That has rteminded me I need toi get a new copy of Lateralus. I lost mine
  13. I would have to say Moshulu is where its at, I will be there on friday . Though I do go to Exodus on a monday sometimes.
  14. And I dont think I can go. I will have exams
  15. Recently I have been listening to Sick of it all. A mixture of the albums I own. It was in anticipation and now is in memory of their gig last thursday. It reinforced the fact that they are my favorite band. I have also been listening to some Freebase Capdown for the upcoming gig Killswitch engage. I forgot how much I liked them until I put Alive or just breathing on last night. They are playing glasgom in January but I will be in exam time I think Beastie Boys for the gig on saturday
  16. Went and got my ticket yesterday. Should be a good night. I have beastie boys on saturday. Alexisonfire and The Bled on sunday and Capdown on monday. I really wanted to go to Breed 77 as well but too much work to do
  17. Seconded. Even if you arn't a huge fan of them I would have thought someone that much into unearth would still find all the other bands enjoyable. Personaly I thought unearth were the poorest band that night but still enjoyed the set they did
  18. I was there. Missed the bones so no comment on them. WOJ were fantastic and sick of it all were awesome. Slapshot and 7 seconds were good to. Not so sure about unearth.
  19. Once again my thoughts exactaly. In my oppinion too many bands are destroyed by bad (Well I dont like them) Vocalists. Dont get me wrong. I like shouting/screaming vocals some times. Hatebreed and Frebase are two of my favorite bands. I might just be stuck in the past, while some people have moved onto post hardcore I am still back with good old hardcore Anyway back to the topic. It is really shitty what he has done to the band. I would not expect that from anyone. But I am sure there is another side to the story that tells it differently.
  20. Those were my thoughs precisly. I got it back in 6th year too. I still have it and tried to listen to it again the other day. I still cant get into it with his voice. It really does not sound good
  21. Nooooooooooooooooooooooo. I was really looking forward to them
  22. Glassjaw were one of those bands that everyoine always said were good but I just couldn't see it at all. I have one of their albums (I think it is called everything you ever wanted to know about silence) and thought the vocals were really bad
  23. I too am going. Not really what I am into but going with a big group of friends so it should be good
  24. I too went to see slipknot and slayer. To tell the truth I thought Mastodon were a bit boring, the sound was far to quiet and the people wernt really into it which also detracted from their preformance but all in all I aint a fan. Hatebreed were immense. I have been a fan of theirs for ages and loved what they played. I imagine it would be a bit shit and all alike if you didnt know their stuff, but I do and thought is was fantastic. Slayer too were fantastic, when they played the first couple of notes of raining blood everyone went wild, it was very cool. Slipknot were ok. I like there new album a lot more than Iowa but it still isnt one of my favorites. I really wanted them to play before I forget and they didn't which was a bit dissapointing but nevermind.
