  1. I was completely unaware of Tortugas existence. Having listened on Myspace, they sound quite good - I was a big fan of NCF, although they weren't great when I saw them live. Dead Swans are brilliant, and This Is Hell are ace too - sound like a good show! Hexes/Johnny Truant/Caner Bats looks good too. Hexes are ACE.
  2. Fantastic band that has become something else with the corpse of Freddy M being repeatedly raped. I fucking loathe Abba and the Bee Gees.
  3. While I agree with some of that, I hate "owning" downloads - much prefer to have a physical CD in my mits, complete with artwork and liner notes (and no, a downloaded, printed off/burnt version is NOT the same). While I wouldn't pay 150 for thata NIN package, I WOULD pay over-the-odds for a similar deal from say, Deftones, Converge or Clutch (not 150 MIND!).
  4. Supporting Converge. With Coliseum.
  5. Have listened a few time - tbh the "wacky" interludes are by far the most entertaining parts - and have the best tunes! The rest is Okaaay, just a bit dull!
  6. Oh I LIKE this - got it from a website, and it is rather special. Very slow, drawn out - but never dull! Very good for inbetween bouts of Genghis Tron and Hope Con!
  7. I realise only a few folks will be into them, but what is the best Integrity album to start with?
  8. Would love to see RATM, but the rest of the lineup looks average at best, and TITP is always full of cunts.
  9. Lostprophets are one of the UKs biggest acts - why on earth shouldn't they be headlining? They put on a pretty damn good show, have a load of proper stadium/festival sized anthems, and I reck will go down a treat. The Offspring have done fuck all for years - I'm surprised they can still fill a headline slot. Motorhead are great, but not "big" enough to headline, Judas Priest are too small too.
  10. Sorry, "Here Comes Death", not "The Pain". Wheres the fucking edit button gone?
  11. Dropkick Murphies - Sing Loud, Sing Proud Speedealer - Here Comes the Pain Pitchshifter - The Remix Wars All three for a fiver.
  12. YouTube - London Underground - Lazy Cunts
  13. Boo to the venue - whats wrong with it? No Heroes is your favourite? I was listening to it today, and its GOOD, but there are better. Jane Doe is obviously a classic, and PTES and WFCC are awesome. I think You Fail Me is massively underrated. Ach, they're all ace!
  14. Plan B looked like pile of super-hyped trendy pish when I picked it up in Borders.....

    bjork

A fat, nutter Bjork fan fakes suicide? Is that what you REALLY look like Stripey?
  16. Ace UK Hardcore - do you like American Nightmare? You'll like Dead Swans! MySpace.com - DEAD SWANS (new song up) - UK - Hardcore / Blues - www.myspace.com/thedeadswans I believe they're supporting This Is Hell in Aberdeen. Should be a good gig (I can't make the Glasgow date - boo!)
  17. Quick question - I've just uploaded a load of videos to YouTube, but when they are played back, its only a section of the video picture that is shown in the whole youtube player (does that make sense?) - eg, a video of someones face only shows the top right quarter, but filling the whole screen. What am I doing wrong?
  18. Ace stuff! Crusty punk-oid hardcore. Love it. Sounds like a better Coliseum. MySpace.com - Disfear - Stockholm Nykping Vstervik - Punk / Hardcore - www.myspace.com/disfear
  19. Yeah, I know it aaaages away, but I miss them. Every. Fucking. Time. Tickets booked! From ticketweb: Sunday, June 15 at 7:00 PM IVORY BLACKS: Converge featuring Integrity / COLLISIUM at Ivory Blacks, Scotland 14+ show 10.00
  20. Rock Sound is one I buy regularly and don't feel cheated by. I like the fact the writers clearly like the same stuff as me, as shown by their recent "most important records" feature which had stufff like "Shape of Punk...", "Oceanic" and loads of other records I love in it, rather than just Never-fuckin-mind a-fucking-gain. Plus they do cover a few other genres superficially, so I feel like I'm "branching out".... Empire I get too, but think they hype blockbusters too much when they're clearly shit. And I fall for it. Metalhammer I sill buy occasionally. Kerrang I buy far too often, as it's gash. I only read the reviews and tour dates - don't think there has been a feature I've more than glanced at for months....
  21. Not really, but closest thing going: http://roadrun.com/shared/downloads/CavaleraConspiracy/CavaleraConspiracy-Sanctuary.mp3 http://www.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk/shared/downloads/CavaleraConspiracy/C%20Cons%20Inflikted.mp3 Rather good I think! (Well, not utter shit, which is what I was expecting!)
