  1. Really? I love the last Glasgow show. New album is a fucking stormer - nice violent edge, aggressive and raw but still accessible. Thoroughly British too, with plenty of attitude and cutting lyrics. Ace.
  2. Umm, it's ace. I liked Blood Mountain, but they hadn't committed enough to the prog element, and not stepped away from the heaviness of Leviathan (which I also loved). The new one is really absorbing, heavy enough and with just enough accessibility. Excellent album.
  3. Aren't there like, 50 Marionettes? I can think of a reasonably high profile deathcore band by the same name, and there was an 80's Glam lot too (didn't Ray Zell used to be in them?)
  4. This. Especially as I'm in Autria for the Glasgow date. Had a few spins - thus far it's good, but I think it needs a few more plays - I found the same with Orchestra of Wolves.....
  5. Great band (fuck tha haterz) and looking forward to the new one tomorrow (not gonna stream it).
  6. You'd hate PBC. Defeater are well good though.
  7. Decision made: Clutch and Mastodon. Seen Down before (very good) and loving the recent Mastodon record. Sorry to be missing Polar Bear Club, but it would be full of thoses cunts with the sideways haircuts that "mosh" by having what appears to be a nervous tick and then checking their fucking hair every 15 seconds, before updating their facebook page on their mobiles. I very nearly killed someone at Cancer Bats the other night.......
  8. Clutch are deffo one of them now - stuck on the S/T and Bad News I simply confirmed it - pretty much best band in the world. And it's at Tuts! Down - indeed brilliant, and great when I saw them at the ABC, but won't bring any support (probably) and have seen them most recently of anyone. Mastodon - Never seen, love all the albums, new one is a belter - but not sure how it'll work live. Polar Bear Club - Very cool right now, but genuinely good band, supported by the equally great Defeater. I suspect I'm dropping Down (reluctantly) and choosing between PCB and Mastodon.....
  9. Argh - all playing the 'weeg within a few days/weeks of each other - but these 3 plus Polar Bear Club - and I can only go to 2 - BUT WHICH 2?!?!?!
  10. Oops - looks like they won't be on the bill anymore - but will be there with samplers....
  11. I think Shields Up will be supporting Polar Bear Club and Defeater in Glasgow in June - so I'll catch them then...
  12. Or however many "nanananas" it is. New album. Very, very good.
  13. Made me chuckle - old-skewl ab-music humour a go-go!
  14. Member of Candiria, DEP and Made Out Of Babies - only 1 ep to date, but very good it is! Hog - I think you'll like 'em..... SPYLACOPA on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads
  15. This is not the Demanufacture line up - therefore sub-par.
  16. Thanks for the Download! Awesome show - not quite up there with the Barrowlands one 12 years ago, but then again I was 17 then......
  17. Found the one I want in Edinburgh, so dilemma over! It is b-e-a-utiful!
  18. http://www.mtv.co.uk/artists/gallows/video/vulture-dirty-version Different for them. I like it.

  20. Hi! Come into some cash, so looking to buy a decent electric guitar - looking at the ESP LTD EC1000 in Vintage Black, but no fucker in Glasgow has it! Tried it out and deffo the guitar I want - but should I actually PLAY the one I want, or am I OK to go with an online retailer? Whatchoofink?
  21. Defeater - Travels. Best hardcore I've heard in aaaages. Modern Life Is War with a touch of Bright Eyes. Love it!
