Just back from seeing it. Ridiculous isn't the word. Pretty entertaining til the last 20 minutes which is just over the line nonsense. Statham still has some great lines, but there's a bit too much violence, swearing and sex for the sake of violence, swearing and sex. There's one quick gag with the answering machine that had me in stitches for sure.

I've pretty much watched every episode of The Inbetweeners today for the first time. It is good, I've laughed quite a bit, the constant paedo/gay/flange jokes are a bit grating, but I'm fully aware that 17-year-olds do talk like that. Yeah, I thought when it got a bit silly that it was obviously going to end up with them waking up in the ship one way or another, there was just enough original ideas to get away with it though. The bit with the typewriter was pretty funny.

They do seem to be slowly uncovering what happened in between. The whole season 9 and 10 thing is pretty tongue in cheek, but I imagine the Kochanski story isn't going to just be thrown away.

Ep 2, way better. Rather interesting and unpredictable story. A bit Last Action Hero.

They might go back to it, like when Season 8 just started out of nowhere with them in prison. Mind you with only 2 more episodes of 20 minutes or so each, I doubt it.
