  1. Towers of London Music Hall 11th April 2007 The lights dimmed and an eerie siren haunted us from the PA, Towers of London came on stage looking like they were ready to go 20 rounds with Tyson, they made noises like Zodiac Mindwarp, The Sex Pistols and Manic Street Preachers and were scary and silly and very loud, they rocked like bastards and Donny manouvered the crowd into a frenzy of hate, pint after pint of beer and numerous objects were thrown at the band and they loved it. He constantly heckled the crowd for wasting their beer, urging them to drink it, calling them idiots and sheep shaggers, climping onto the barrier and crawling over the crowd, but the attention was focused on the whole band, they sounded like a band, looked like a band, and I would go to see them again, because they wear hair product? nah, cos they are worth it.
  2. I get pleasure out of supporting them. They are exciting and a hoot. The dangerous atmosphere at the gigs is electric , much more fun than arseholes ruining gigs by going around telling the audience to shhhhh, or namby pamby bandits playing namby pamby shite and boring everyone in earshot . I'd hardly say they " Dick on The Sex Pistols ", as Donnie so elequently put it after a shandy or two, but they at least hae a good spurt at them, cheers Biz.
  3. I like the photo of the Exhibition centre next to the article which describes the protesters as Two Women -Typical bollocks from the Evening Excuse - one of them was described in the article as being a man - he even has a mannies name, was he a ladyboy?
  4. Ha ha ha, I love that picture, nice one min
  5. I watch you all from a distance... a nice close distance, and I usually like what I see... I am often blown away by the likes of PVH and intrigued by Karrta
  6. I disagree -The Virginmarys were afa good, I'd pay to see them anytime. The Aberdeen band Stanley were the highlight of the festival .
  7. The Shamen - back in the 1980s when they did - I don't like the way this world is turning Old Nicks Eternity Ballroom Pablo Loveless
  8. The Videos,(and whatever else they were called), Maple, XS RELOCAT, edgar prais, King Liar and the Brutes, Los Caballeros and PVH
  9. Ha ha ha ,I saw a band and I liked it I'd pay to see this again, much better than half the shite gan aboot nooadays

  15. Ahhh, good auld Inspector Blake, it's great haein somebody else on here that kens how to write like we spik . There's too much La di Dah, namby pamby ,miserablists and pedantic hoors gan aboot on here noo adays min . I mine August 1981 , it's a bit hazy, but I mine gan to the Broch on Fri 28th and I saw Carnage / punk disco / ....Dresden.... / The Screaming Ab Dabs / Toxik Ephex at the Dalrymple Hall Fraserburgh.............. ,I mine seeing you backstage, sorting a broken fuse wi some silver paper. There was a bit o a wee fire onstage -probably because somebody painted the licht bulbs black, somebody smashed a windae, and wi a got thrown oot and banned at the end. A guy I knew stole Toxiks bass guitar, but I got it back and returned it to him at a gig on Thurs 3rd September - Anti Pasti / Chaotic Youth atThe Music Hall , it was only 2, and I still hae ma ticket tae .
  16. I went to Wiegiville a while back to Oran Mhor - it's called The Mill on certain nights - and all you can buy is bottles of Miller served in a plastic glass - 5.00 a pint is a bit steep, BUT, the venue and PA, etc etc were ace - classy bogs - nice automatic squirting taps and long marble troughs for sinks. We got in free due to some internet texting malarkey. Oscar Charlies bassist had a great sounding Rickenbacker, Boycotts had a cute singer who owned the stage - a bit like a dark haired Debbie Harry. She is well worth a look .
  17. whats on? No mention of Talk Show and Amy Sawers tonight in Tunnels in the What's on guide on Aberdeen Music .I wish promoters and bands would tell us what is going on in the one place on here you sorta expect them to spill the beans .
  18. I think that any journalists should take note that Tom Morton has reluctantly had to cancel this years performance. It was amusing reading about bands playing that never last year .

  20. Everyone is Friendly - my arse, I love reading stuff on here, but there's far too much negativity from dickheads,, who like arguing at the drop of a hat, to get involved in much banter noo adays . Mind you, Myspace is nae so much fun either, it's a, listen to this, or buy that. Fuck twitter, I'm nae getting sucked into it, or Bebo. If I had a plate of stovies for every negative posting on here, it would go twice roon the world, up roon by Jupiter and still hae enough mileage to go to Zanres for a fish supper.
