Anyone got any recommendations for decent garages etc for buying new tyres? All four will be needing changed in the near future! Still, at least the car passed the MOT, for once....

Roll on hometime! I need a beer. This weekend I have my car MOT which will no doubt result in my wallet taking a(nother) hefty hit after getting engaged this week. This means I will also miss the Dons game tomorrow which is probably a blessing in disguise. Anyone want my season ticket for the day? No, didn't think so.

Can't wait to see another football masterclass from the Dons tonight, may go for (need) a beer before/after. Tomorrow continues the beer and football theme with a few of the LADS coming round to drink my first batch of homebrew, hopefully no-one is sick or goes blind. The trifecta will be completed on Sunday by playing football and going for a post game pint.

Not really interested in buying a DSLR as Phil says a steep learning curve and don't have time to devote to it. Plus, they are massive. Just looking for a general use camera. I think its between the Sony HX20V and the Samsung NX1000....

They were cracking quality and well priced and Hobbycraft is full of rubbish. Failing that, any other places in town that aren't a total rip?

Picked up the Mellon vinyl box set for £45... very nice it is too. Fuck paying over £100 for the CD copy though, what a rip. I would have expected the vinyl version to be the more expensive one!

I have one of these too, never opened it. Got it for about £15 I seem to remember. I would have bought if for half that price perhaps. The other reissue box sets have been less than £30... The vinyl set does look nice mind you.

At £140 each though I won't be picking them up for quite some time. Ouch!

Just about finished my first season with the Dons. Won the league cup and the title (Celtic were about 12 points ahead at one point). Just one more league game and the Scottish cup final to go (against Celtic). Shame it isn't real. I need to splash the cash close season.

Aye, he was fucking terrible. And cost over 500K... maybe it was nearer 700K. Fuck me. Still not as bad as Kiriakov though. Edit: Turns out it was 750K! Brian O'Neill was 800K! Jesus wept.

Tonight: Football manager and beer. Tomorrow: Housewarming/1st birthday party in the afternoon. In the evening I am going to Chris wedding reception and after that I have a birthday party to attend in town. BUSY! Sunday: Play football and recover.
