AH ROAR FOR METAL> MEETTTTALLLLLLLL ROOOOOOOOOOAR ah i went to valhella once. it was great dave. they played great songs... and i nodded to 'drought' good band. good song. thanks dave. thanks rory.
sorry i don't usually remember the names unless seen so i guess perhaps diablo (although i havnt seen them in a while...) the x-certs were sort of heading that way... i guess the band murray was in at one up a couple of weeks ago, plus the first band that played there... i guess they were better (sorry murray, but your gig didnt go to well did it... but you did well considering the circumstances) its not my kind of thing like i say... but definitely check out 'the gloria flaw' cause i think their damn good.
yeh i've always meant to get into some fripp, i've got a couple of tracks with Eno and Fripp composing together but my uncle said hes got some damn good stuff. my uncle also mentioned some of Micheal Giles colaberation stuff to be good...
well you see early tool isnt all that prog... they started it more in aenima then ofcourse evident in the live stuff 'salival' and 'lateralus... king crimson are very defining i cant honestly imagine what it must have been like back when they first were recognised... it would have been so curazy. but then ENO is another man to be considered when it comes to prog stuff not neccessarily rock ofcourse, but the guy is also way ahead of his time.
its true.(example) why would you want feedback from a 13 year old on a piece of art instead of someone much more mature who perhaps has an interest in the subject... its like if someone says the comment 'its too repetitive' when it comes to electronica, its almost the stupidist thing you could say... because obviously you have no previous knowledge to the fact that most electronica is repeptitive and so its a pretty pointless thing to say isnt it... its almost not feedback at all.
ah yes the barbeque. i can remember everyone telling me to 'fuck off bradley', cause i sucked at cooking sausages. they kept falling down the side, god damn it. i think everyone must have been drinking gin. i never drink gin, but i was offered so thats a different story...
ah once again stripey loves to be hated. i can kind of agree with him though. this whole repetitive thing is a bit silly. after all some of the greatest songs that ive ever heard are damn repetitive.
moth-er fuck-er. its was amazing. aparently i was the drunkest there, lots of falling over... i really needed it. i walked home by myself, took me two hours got home at 530 and was working at 845, i was still drunk, it was so amazing.
