If you can down 5 pints before we play that'll get you in the mood, plus you might be better of being wasted when we play coz it's our first show, so if we mess up then you won't remember a thing!!!! Deary me, we've only been a band for 4 weeks and people are getting our name wrong, Taking Chase is the new Misled Youth band - www.myspace.com/takingchasemusic This is going to be our first EVER gig and I can't wait, so many ace bands playing, so we better not suck! As for what we're going to sound like, it's gonna be pretty much similar to the Youth (still playing a couple of MY songs) - except the fast bits are faster, the ska bits are more reggae, the tunes are more melodic and the new guy's are fooking amazing musicians so it generally rocks a lot harder 8) anyway, sorry to keep talking about the band.............I'm just well excitied!!

Yesterday was AMAZING, annoyed that I missed The Upstarts and One Man Race, but the goddamn car hire company let us down. However, that was definitely the best show we've played at in Aberdeen, all of us had such a good time (apart from Lee, he say's got the flu........hangover more like) I hope we get back up soon!!

Probably Shootin Goon (RIP) were the best band we've shared a stage with, played about 5 gigs with them, and such nice fellas as well.......................Five Knuckle as well, there definitley up there with the best!!

Before we get slagged to bits for not turning up, I just want to apologise...........when certain members of the band (ie the drummer) doesn't "think" about getting out of work early for a 3 hour drive to Aberdeen we're pretty screwed...........it's good to see where his priorities are, anyway, there would've been no way we could've made up in time to play, so if anyone was actually there to see us (I doubt it though), on behalf of all the band - I once again apologise!! We'll no doubt NEVER get asked back to play Aberdeen, and I can understand why! Sorry!
