I read Modric has slightly backed down and apologised to Daniel Levy for his recent behaviour. I have to say Owen is being a bit arrogant refusing to drop down to the Championship. He should just swallow his pride and start playing for a team who are actually going to play him when he's fit and if that is a Championship team then so be it. A move to Celtic could be pretty good for him but it's in his head he's still an EPL player and that is that. The fact he can afford to retire if need be suggests he has earned more than enough money!!! I reckon he might end up at someone like Stoke, Villa or Everton meself.

It's not often I welcome back an old player but was dead chuffed we re-signed Robbie Willmott today after 18 months at Luton. We sold him for 50k and got him back for nothing, one of our own came through the youth system, has lost his way a bit but at 22 still young enough to make an impact, I look forward to him darting down the right wing! Reckons he could have got double his wages elsewhere an all. Actually going down that dangerous path of being relatively optimistic about the new season. Squad looking much better than last season and the kids we were forced to play at times when injuries and suspensions kicked in post-christmas are now more experienced. Of course that will all probably be shattered come October but hey its good to dream of Midweek Johnstone Paint Trophy ties away at Chesterfield!!! First pre season Saturday away at Cambridge City.... bring it on!
